Untold // Calum

chapter eighteen

Lila, Calum, Michael, and Deanna woke up the next morning sprawled out across the blankets on the floor.

-Lila's POV-
I was snuggling up against Calum's back. I heard the kitty drinking it's milk in his bowl. I loved the idea of getting a kitten. Michael and Deanna were sleeping away. Calum was playing with my hair, he seems to obsess over my hair. he wraps his fingers around my curls and gets frustrated when they are all tangled. I thought it was really cute though. I got up and grabbed all of our things.
"maybe we should get going. I'll leave a nice thank you note for them." I said smiling. I walked into their tiny kitchen staying as quiet as possible. I eventually found a pen and paper and stuck the note in Michael's forehead. Cal and I slipped out the door and ran to our car in the parking lot. not sure why we ran, but a rush of adrenaline ran throughout me. I sat in the car with a pouty face.
"what's the matter baby?" he asked.
"I didn't get my good morning kiss!" I said whining dramatically.
"oh my gosh I'm so sorry." he said as he put his hand on my cheek and pulled me into a passionate kiss. I smiled and pulled off and breathed in heavily.
"that was amazing. good morning sweetheart." I shot him a cheeky smile.
he started up the car and we headed to our house.

-Calum's POV-
I talked to my parents over the phone yesterday when I called about hanging with them. I asked them if we could all go apartment hunting and stuff. we got home and I pulled into the garage.
"hey, our parents agreed to help us go apartment hunting later today, is that okay with you?" I asked laying my hand on her shoulder.
"yeah that's okay with me." she said kissing my cheek. I loved the little moments we shared together. we walked in together and saw our parents were still asleep. I didn't even realize what time it was. it was like 6:30! Lila went and laid on the couch. I trailed along and sat next to her.
"no. come cuddle please." she said pulling on my shirt.
"aww. your so cute." I said putting my hands on her cheeks. she scooted over so she laid her back on the couch and I laid facing her. I picked up a piece of her hair and twirled it around my finger. she smiled and looked down. she wrapped her arms around me and I kissed her arms. I loved her so much.

-Lila's POV-
his little kisses against my arms were tickling me. I was holding back my giggles since our parents were still asleep. he wrapped his leg around my body and he was engulfing me. I had my head in the crook of his neck. he was still wearing his beanie and the fluff at the edge rubbed against my face. he was so cuddly and I loved it. I guess our parents decided to sleep in because they never came down.
Calum ended up falling asleep on my and i thought it was super cute. I ran my hands over his back and I ran my fingers in the ridges on his spine. he smiled and I immediately knew he was awake.
"hey.. are you awake Cal?!" I yelled playfully.
"hehe, yeah i am." his accent was really thick and raspy. I ran my fingers over his lips. and then we kissed. my mum was awake, but Calum's weren't.
"hey mum." I said.
"good morning." Cal said.
"hey guys, your back a little early." she replied sleepily.
"yeah, why is everyone asleep still?" I asked.
"we stayed up late and partied." my mom said jokingly.
"no you did not." Calum said with a chuckle.
"well we kinda did!" my mom said walking into the kitchen. I sat up with Calum and he clung on to me.
"please just a little longer." he whined.
"Cal cmon, let's go look for apartments. and maybe we can just head out ourselves?" I asked.
"okay. but we have to snuggle the second we get back, alright!"
"alright." I kissed him lightly on the lips. we sat up and told my mum the plan and headed straight to the apartments closest to us.
