Untold // Calum

chapter twenty-one

-Calum's POV-
I woke up in the middle of the night. Lila had rolled over on the very edge of the bed. I made a toddler-pouty-face and wiggled like a slug closer to her. I snaked my arms around her waist and snuggled my head in the crook of her neck. I was finally able to rest with her with me. I slept for about 4 more hours after that. we both woke up at the same time.
"good morning my lovely." she said kissing me. she was in a very good mood today.
"good morning sunshine." I said kissing her again. we both set up. it felt so weird, we weren't around our parents anymore. but I knew that they were close.

-Lila's POV-
I got out of bed and started to get ready. I threw on some clothes and out in earrings. I also decided to wear my glasses today instead of contacts.
"I'm going to get going so I can make it." I said heading over to Cal. I held his hands in both of mine and swung them back and forth.
"aw, why do you have to leave so early?" he said with a pout.
"I have to get going so we can come home and cuddle, babe. I'm sorry." I said laying my head in his chest.
"okay. well I will for sure have a surprise for you when you get back." he said with a smirk.
"alright, I love you!" I said standing on my toes and kissing him. I headed out the door as grabbed my phone on the way. I texted my mum to make sure she was ready. Calum didn't tell me where he was going and it bothered my so much because I couldn't find a logical place for him to go. I got in the car and drove over to the other house.

-Calum's POV-
I texted Michael asking if he could pick me up. Lila took the car so.. I put on some clothes and a SnapBack. I grabbed a piece of toast and threw on my regular shoes. I met Michael and Deanna outside the complex.
"hey." i said sitting in the back.
"hi." they both said back in unison.
"thank you for driving me, can you take me to the pet store?" I asked.
"the pet store? sure.. why there?" Mikey asked.
"I'm going to get Lila and I a kitten, just like you guys have!" I said joyfully. they both smiled at each other.
"that's cute." Deanna said. Michael drove really quick and we got to the pet store in no time. we got out and walked in.
"hello, how are you?" some worker yelled.
"uh, good." I said making my way to the aisle i wanted to go to. the first one I saw, I knew, was the one.
