Untold // Calum

chapter three

it was a Saturday. Calum woke up early and helped his mum with breakfast. Lila went downstairs and hugged her mum good morning.

-Calum's POV-
I'm so glad I could get them out of that hellhole. I was making pancakes with my mum and she told me that our dad would be coming home from his business trip soon. I was elated. I wanted to tell him about school and Lila and everything.
"What day is he coming home?" I asked.
"Tomorrow actually.." my mum said.
I jumped for joy. he was coming home!
I went into the living room where Lila and her mum were.
"Guess what!?" I said excitedly.
"what?!" Lila said coming over to hug me.
"my dad is coming home from business tomorrow!" I said happily.
"seriously! that's great!" she said kissing me.
"excuse me? what's with the kissing?" Lila's mom said with a smirk.
"we're dating now mom.." Lila said blushing.

-Lila's POV-
my mom was so embarrassing. but I was so happy for Calum. his dad would be back after a long 2 years gone. I kissed Calum again he took me into the kitchen to eat breakfast. the pancakes he made were delicious. I started to think that Calum would make a wonderful dad. he seemed like a good father figure. I already knew he was a great friend and boyfriend. I should not get ahead of myself so much. I chuckled out loud breaking the silence in the room. everyone just turned their heads and looked at me weird. Calum was sitting next to me and he put his hand on my thigh. it actually tickled me a bit but it was sexy in a way. Calum looked over and gave me a cute little smirk.

-Calum's POV-
Lila was so freaking cute. I really, really loved her. next week was our last day of senior year. maybe we could move out of my parents house and her mom can stay with mine. that actually sounded great in my head, but it would be hard to convince my parents since my sister moved out and I'm their last. l could take care of Lila and myself though, we've both been saving up money since we were little. we always dreamed of moving in together and being best friends forever. once middle school hit though, I wanted to be soooo much more than friends. I had a feeling she liked me back but I never could put much thought into it.

*later that night*

I've decided to throw all my blades and razors and just everything away. I had a great girlfriend and a loving family. and those bullies from school, I'll never have to see them again after next week. Lila saw me take them all and throw them away. she was crying and kept saying how she was so proud of me. my mum still wanted to put me in therapy so I wouldn't ever do it again. I've also decided to get a few tattoos once school was out. I'm getting 3 on my arm and two on my chest. I was always a risk taker wasn't i. Lila always planned on getting my name on her wrist so she would always remember me. it was so sweet.

-Lila's POV-
Calum and I slept in the same bed again. I didn't find it weird since we've been doing it ever since we were kids. but now there is cuddling and cute little kisses. our moms didn't really mind. we were almost adults anyway. our birthdays were exactly 4 days away from each other's. I always that was so cool. Calum and I stayed up late just talking about what we'd do on our last week of school. we got out on Wednesday since we were seniors so it wasn't technically a week. I was actually pretty excited. I'll finally be down with highschool. I wasn't planning on going to college. I don't really think Calum was either.
