Untold // Calum

chapter nineteen

-Calum's POV-
we headed over to the apartments that were in the next neighborhood over. they had limited space, but we checked it out. they were a little over our budget, but our parents were helping us out anyway.
"I'll take you up, we only have the available spaces on the top floor." the man from the lobby said stepping in the elevator.
"the tops floor is fine." Lila said smiling as she glanced at me. I held her hand as we rode up to the top floor. he unlocked a door, and it was huge!
"oh my gosh, there is so much space here!!" Lila said spinning me around with her.
"so are you guys liking this so far?" he asked with a chuckle.
"it's great, actually.how many bedrooms again?" I replied.
"there is two, and 2 bathrooms." he said back.
"let's do it. today." Lila said looking to me for reassurance. I looked back and smiled. I felt like it was going so fast.
"yeah. when's the soonest we can move in?" I replied.
"well, if you do all the paperwork now, then you can move in today if your totally sure!"
"today?!" we both said excitedly.

-Lila's POV-
I was elated. we went down the main lobby and started signing papers. we signed a whole bunch and we found out the pets are allowed here. which was great because I wanted a little kitty so bad. we handed all the forms back and headed to pack.
"are you ready for this?" he asked as we got in the car.
"yes. I am fully prepared now." I answered.
"alright! let's go!" he said.
as we got back to the house, everyone was awake now and sitting on the couch.
"hey guys!" I yelled as we walked in.
"hey your back!" Calum's parents yelled. my mum obviously knew where we were.
"hey we kinda uh, bought an apartment.." Calum released.
"wait seriously? are you guys ready or this?" they started to ask so many questions and it was overwhelming. I ran upstairs and let Cal give them the details. I packed my bathroom things first. then my clothes and everything. Calum came in around 20 minutes into packing.
"well they are happy about it!" he came in and hugged me. his dad came upstairs and disassembled his bed. our mums both came in and helped bring the dresser downstairs as well. we finished up back and i ran into his arms.
"this doesn't feel real." I said kissing him.
"yeah, I mean we're both 18 and will be living in our own now!" he said laying his head on mine. we hauled all of our stuff into our car and they went back upstairs to get the end tables and desk.
it all felt like a dream, everything was going by so fast and everything.
"ready babe?" he said looking at me with his hands on the wheel.
"yup!" I said buckling up. we drove the 5 minutes with our parents trailing behind us. we arrived and brought everything up.
"hey guys, your back now. here are your new keys!" he handed us 3 pairs of keys.
"thank you sir." Calum said. he as such a gentlemen.

-Calum's POV-
I set everything down and Lila was laying on the empty floor.
"tired babe?" I asked. she nodded in agreement and I walked over and grabbed her hand and pulled her up. we took out everything and it took us such a long time. our parents were very thoughtful and got us all of our essentials we needed. there was hugging and crying for like 3 hours with our parents. they all finally headed out and we laid on our new couch. I kissed Lila's forehead.
"it's finally real. I love you so much." I said kissing her again.
"yeah, it's just us again. I love it like this. your amazing babe." she said kissing me back again. I laid on my back and she was laying on my stomach face down. I kissed the top of her head as she tired to align her feet with mine.
