Chapter 1

Nayeon's POV

"Nayeon unnie, you should rest for a bit. You look so tired." Jihyo, one of my co-workers said.

I smiled and shook my head. "I'm fine. You guys can eat ahead." I said and continued typing for my report.

"Unnie, you really should rest for a while. You are starting to look like a panda." Jeongyeon teased and chuckled.

I spotted Sana poke her and gave her a glare before turning to me.

"Unnie, it's been three months already. Don't you think you should move on?" Sana said.

I looked at them and meet their begging eyes.

I sighed. I smiled and stood up. "Alright, I'll rest." Slowly, they smiled widely.

"Great! Let's go and eat lunch!" Dahyun and Chaeyoung said happily.

We all giggled and walk downstairs towards the cafeteria.

"Did you heard about the new employee?" Tzuyu asked as soon as we sit on the chairs.

"I heard about it! I heard he is a boy." Momo said and the other nod while I was in pure confusion.

"New employee? How come I didn't know anything about this?" I asked.

Tzuyu snorted. "That's because you are always busy with work that you never listen to any talks we had."

I smiled sheepishly. "Mianhe."

"Anyways, I also heard that he will start working tomorrow." Mina said.

"Mhm. Well, I'm always ready to mingle." Jeongyeon said making everyone laugh.

This kids..

"Oh right, Nayeon unnie, after work, we will go to Yeji's house to hang out. Will you come?" Jihyo asked.

I shook my head as I ate a spoonful of rice.

"I'll pass. I have to pick up my baby cousin at her school later." I said and they just nodded as we started to eat.

"Here you go manager Choi." I said and handed our manager my printed report.

"Thanks Nayeon." He said so I bowed. "I'll go ahead already sir." I said and turn around but stopped on my tracks when he called me again.

"Wait, Nayeon."

"Yes, sir?" I asked when I faced him.

"Tomorrow, we have a new employee. I was thinking that you will be the person who will assist him for his first few days in here." He said.

I smiled. "Sure, sir. It will be an honor." He smiled back. "Okay then. You may go."

The girls already left a while ago since they were excited to hang out with Yeji and some girls.

Honestly, it's also been a while since I hang out with them and I really missed those times.

But after Ben died, I drowned myself on work that I forgot to spend time with my friends.

I guess they're right... It's time to move on...

I am currently waiting for my baby cousin outside the school building while leaning on my car when another car arrived.
