Nayeon's POV

It is still early in the morning when I arrive at the company building.

I decided to go here early and start doing my paperwork to have an early leave.

I woke up with a slight headache this morning and when I got here, it got a little worse.

I sighed and leaned on my office chair.

Maybe because I ate ice cream yesterday without eating lunch and dinner

Whenever I'm alone, I tend to get lazy and that means I would somehow not eat three times a day due to laziness.

"You're early unnie." I look up and spotted Jihyo making me smile.

"Surprise." I said making her laugh. "Okay. I'll go to my table now." She said and I nodded.

I turned my computer on and waited for a while before starting to type.

"Unnie, did you had breakfast?" Jihyo asked not far from my table.

The same time, my stomach growled making me pout. "Let's go eat?" I asked.

"Sure." We both stand up and we walked towards the elevator and downstairs to the cafeteria.

"You girls are early. Here, some nice hot vegetable soup for you guys." A staff said with a smile.

We smiled back and accepted the bowl of soup for each of me and Jihyo before getting some rice, some desserts, and drinks.

"Unnie, Sana texted me just last night that she will having a day off today." Jihyo said making me raise a brow.

"How come?" I asked. "She has to take care of her baby sister who is having a fever. Her parents is too busy with work." I nodded.

"I feel bad for some children who always have to suffer because their parents aren't always around." I said.

"I agree. I mean, at least one if them should stay home and take care for their child."

"For you, what's more important, work or family?" I asked Jihyo.

"Of course, fami-"

"Work" we both turn around and spotted Jungkook with a tray.

He smiled. "I overheard your conversation. Mind if I sit beside you guys?" He asked.

I smiled. "We don't mind." I said and with that, he sit across me and Jihyo.

Jihyo smiled and leaned a little close towards Jungkook's direction.

"Say, you said work is more important than family, what made you say that?" She asked.

He paused for a while, looking down at his meal before looking back at us with a weak smile.

"My parents never took care of me, actually. My auntie was the one who raised me who died last year. They are always busy with work. Sure they did support my financial needs but never my childish needs." He said.

"Ahh" Jihyo seemed to be guilty with asking so she turned to me for help.

"Well, all parents have their own ways to take care of their children so, yeah." I said as Jihyo and Jungkook smiled.

"Jungkook, can I ask you a question?" I slurped on my soup while Jihyo asked the guy in front of us.

"What is it?" He asked.
