Nayeon's POV
"Thanks for today." I faced Jungkook as soon as we arrive at my front door.
He smiled. "My pleasure. Also..." He scratched the back of his neck with a shy smile.
I rase a brow. "Hm? What is it?" I asked.
He then suddenly leaned close to me and pressed his lips on my right cheek.
"Have a good night."he said happily before turning back to his car.
While I was there standing frozen, he waved goodbye at me then chuckled knowing he must've seen my flustered face.
I snap back to reality ad smiled at him. " G-good night."I waved as well.
He smiled for the last time and entered his car driving away towards his house.
I turn around and look for my door keys before entering the house.
I placed my shoes on the shoe rack and went to the living room.
Sighing, I sit down on the couch with a slight thud.
"I think I like him as well, but something is missing... And that makes me not say what I also feel towards him."
But... What could be the 'something' that is missing?

The next day, I woke up not feeling myself at all. Like, I don't want to do anything so I called Jihyo and told her to tell our manager I'll be taking an absent today.
"That's so sudden. Did anything happen?" Jihyo asked.
I smiled happy she cares. "Nothing happened. It's just that my lazy disease is starting to eat me again." I chuckled and so did she.
"Okay then, I'll tell manager- wait." She said making me raise a brow.
"Unnie" Jihyo said. "Hm?" I hummed in response.
"Jungkook wants to talk to you." My heart start to beat fast when I heard his name.
"Sure thing."
"Nayeon? I heard your conversation. Are you okay?" He asked worry evident on his voice.
I chuckled. "I'm fine. I'm just too lazy. The bed is pulling me closer towards it."
I then heard his soft chuckle. "I'm coming there."
My eyes widen making me sit up straight in the bed. "Mwo?! Aniyo! Don't you dare!"
He laughed on the other side of the line. "Kidding. I respect your decision. Though I'll make sure you won't get lazy again during work."
I smiled as I felt butterflies fly around my stomach.
"Arrasseo. Bye!" I then hung up.
