Chapter 21.2 | End??

Jungkook's POV

No Nayeon...

I really need to talk to her but now, she didn't even showed up for work.

Other co-employees of mine are quite worried as well since they said she never skips a day at work no matter how sick or tired she is.

"She isn't picking up my calls as well..." I heard Jihyo whisper at Tzuyu who are at my right.

"Try calling Nini. Wait- we don't have her number..."

"Jungkook"I turn to them and found the two looking at me.

"Do you perhaps, have Nini's number? She would have known what happened to her." Jihyo asked politely but it was clear that she is worried for Nayeon.

"I'll try calling her." I said and dialed Nini's number.

The line ringed for a while before she responded.

"Oppa! Nayeon noona is leaving!!" And with that, I stood up from my seat with a shocked expression making the other employees lose focus pn their work as they look at me.

"Where is she going?" I asked worriedly.

"Auntie is trying to stop her from downstairs. Please, oppa, you must not let her leave! What happened to her?" Nini is in the verge of crying evident on his tone.

"We both had a misunderstanding. I'll go there and explain everything to her." I said while stuffing my stuffs in my bag.

"Hurry, oppa. We don't think we can stop her for long."

"I'm on my way." And with that, I hung up and look at Jimin who is now smiling at me.

"I'll explain to our manager that there is an emergency. Go, stop her." He said making me smile back at him.

He isn't that bad after all... I judged him too quickly...

Nayeon's POV

"Unnie~! Don't go! Tell us what happened! We will fix it for you."

I smiled at their worries. "You don't have to. I, myself, have found already the solution to my problem..."

I have been holding my tears back as much as I could for now.

I remembered again those words she said....

'I love him, and so does he, please, leave us alone, go somewhere far away whrre we won't see you. You'll only confuse his feelings for me.'

Looks like Jungkook has a girlfriend already...

I salute her... for standing up, coming and confronting me to avoid further misunderstandings for the both of them as a couple...

I hope they both would have a good life...

I'll go now and set you free Jungkook.

I never had the chance to say how much I love you... But I ain't telling you so that you will stick on loving your girlfriend...

I'll cherish those moments we had Jungkook, til the end...

Jungkook, Saranghae...

But...

There is no such thing as Paradise in our lives...
