Chapter 5

Nayeon's POV

"Bye Nayeon!" Irene unnie bid goodbye not that far from me.

The event already ended and it's almost 11 PM. I smiled back at Irene unnie and waved goodbye to her.

I suddenly yawned as soon as Jin oppa and Irene unnie have left the venue.

"I'm tired." I mumbled to myself and walked to where my car is parked.

There is still a few of us here at the parking lot but most had left already. As for Jungkook, I don't know if he already left or still here.

When I reached my park, I looked for my car keys in my purse while yawning again when I felt someone's presence behind me.

"You know, it's dangerous for you to drive when sleepy." I turn around and found Jungkook with both hands on his pockets.

"I have no more choice." I answered and was about to turn around when he grabbed my car keys and my hand with his other hand.

"I'll drive you home." He said. I shook my head. "I don't want to bother you and, I think you have a car." I said.

He smiled. "I can pick it up tomorrow morning." He said. "And I insist so I'm not taking 'no' as an answer." He said and escorted me to the passenger's seat.

I had no choice but to let him and true, I was really tired and I feel lazy driving.

"Wait, you know where my house is?" I asked him who just finished starting the engine.

"Gray told me your address. Nini used to tell him your address." I just nodded by his response.

He then started driving and after a few minutes, I fell into deep slumber.

Jungkook's POV

I glanced at Nayeon when we were half-way to their house and spotted her in a deep sleep.

And just like as usual, she makes me remember of Coleen. She looks so innocent and cute.

Why am I like this?

Why is my heart beating fast whenever I see her or whenever I'm near her?

I sighed and looked back on the road still driving.

"Thanks for bringing her." Sana gave me a smile as I nodded at her.

"It's no problem." I said.

I am currently carrying Nayeon bridal style since I couldn't wake her up no matter how hard I try so I had no choice but to carry her.

"Follow me. You can put her on her bed." She said and I just nodded again.

After I put her down on the bed and her purse on the night stand, I tucked her in the blanket while she moved a little bit getting comfy on the bed.

My lips surprisingly curved upwards seeing her now.

She looks like an angel. A fragile one which you have to really take care so she won't get broken.

Wait- what am I thinking?! Snap out of it Jungkook!

"I'll get going now." I said to Sana once I reached downstairs.

She nodded but the spotted that she remembered something.
