Free Food

"Okay Mr. Kim, please turn to your right. " Jin did as the director ordered and raised his chin as the lights of the camera flashed indicating that the shot had been taken. "Thank you Mr. Kim that will be all." Jin nodded and smiled at the director before making his way out of the photo booth.

"Manager-nim how much more time would it take to finish the photoshoot," Jin asked his manager. "Look Jin, this is the only thing scheduled today, and the director wants to take his time. Since you finished first, you'll have to wait till at least 6 to go back home." Great...that means doing nothing for 6 hours. Then an idea struck him "Manager-nim can I go then, you know just to freshen up? I'll be back by 5." "Yes Jin, you can go, wear a mask and a hat though," his manager replied. "Thank you, Hyung." He then changes from his photoshoot costume into a simple shirt and jeans and walks out of the building.

Walking around for some time, Jin felt bored. He would normally hang out with his band members, but they were all busy in the shoot. So he texted someone he had been longing to hang out with for a week now. He sat down on a bench and opened Mira's chat.

Jin: Mimi!!!!

Jin waited restlessly for her response. Fortunately, he only had to wait for a minute before a ping went off from his phone.

Mira: Jiniie!!!!

Jin: Are you busy.

Mira: Uhhh...no not really..why?? 🤔

Jin: Do you wanna maybe meet up?

Mira: Sure, where?

Jin: At the Big Hit Cafe.

Mira: Cool. I'll be there in about 15 minutes

Jin: Okay :)

Mira and Jin had been talking for 3 weeks now and the last time they hung out was about a week ago. Mira had found comfort in talking to him. She felt like she could tell him anything and he wouldn't judge her or reprimand her. So, when he had asked if she wanted to hang out, Mira was naturally excited.

She picked out blue denim shorts and a white button-down shirt. She carried a small sling bag to put in her phone and some money and set out from her house. The cafe was not far, so it took her 10 minutes to reach. When Mira saw Jin standing outside the cafe, her heart started beating 10 times faster. Her face broke into a huge grin as she saw him walking towards her.

"Hey, Mimi!!" Jin exclaimed..."Heyyy!!!" Mira said back. Both of them run towards each other and greet the other with a hug. When they broke from the embrace, each of their faces was flushed and they were both flustered. "Don't you have a photoshoot today Jinnie?" Mira asked breaking the awkward silence. "Yes, we did how do you know?" "I have my sources." Mira shrugged while replying. "Ahh, Namjoon-ah would have spilled it out on v-live. Ugh...He's supposed to be our leader." Seokjin hit his forehead with his palm. Mira let out a chuckle. "No no don't worry, he only said that you guys are scheduled for a photoshoot today, nothing else." "Ahh...that explains why we weren't crowded by crazy fans already." They both let out a laugh. "Yeah, so back to my question. Why aren't you in the photoshoot?" Mira asks. "Uh...I finished my shoot first and it would take a lot of time to complete everybody else's so here I am." She nodded in response.

The pair had been walking for a while, talking about the concert when Mira heard her stomach grumble and only hoped that he hadn't heard it. "I'm hungry," Mira remarked. "Me too. But I don't have any money right now. I left my wallet with Jimin."

"I do but it's not enough for the both of us." She sighed. And then realization struck her. She smirks and looks at Jin "You ready for some free food?"
