Epilogue

"Thank you everyone for coming to the fan sign. I'm so grateful to everyone who has given Almond Eyes the love and support that it got!" Mira bowed a 90 degree, thanking the audience as the fan sign was wrapped up, a huge smile on her face. In 8 months her book had reached the first spot as a bestseller not only in Soth Korea but globally.

She and Hana had moved into a much bigger apartment at Hannam The Hill. This way she was closer to Jin as well. Jin...... every time she thought of him, her heart paced faster and her cheeks became hot. Every time he kissed her or touched her felt so new, like the very first time. The last 7 months that she had been with him, had made her happier than ever before. Every day, her love for him only grew bigger and bigger.

However, she missed him dearly. She had not seen him for almost a week now as he had gone to Jeju Island for a Baskin Robbin's photoshoot. Though it had only been a few days, every minute spent away from him felt like years.

Her heart fluttered and the smile on her face grew bigger as her phone rung. Knowing exactly who was at the other end, she accepted the call. "Jinnieee!!" She screamed into the phone as she heard an adorable chuckle from the other side, "Mimiiii!!!" Jin imitated her. "Ahhh Mi, I miss you so much!" He says. "Ah! don't worry, you'll come back in another 5 days right?" She questions. "Yeah, but....." She felt her heart sink. Was his shoot getting extended? " Why? What happened? Are you gonna stay there for more time?" She asked, her heart beating fast in anticipation.

"No no I'm coming back 5 days later. But...we may be able to see each other sooner than that. Are you free next week?" "Yeah..I am" Mira replied, confused. "Awesome, I've bought you tickets for Jeju Island, your flight leaves today at 7 pm!" Mira took a full minute to understand what he said. When she did though, she squealed like a squirrel which made Jin giggle. "Yay! Jinnie! I'm so happy I'm gonna see you today!!! Although you could have told me earlier!" She said with a pout.

"Okay, Okay I'm sorry. Just come to me fast Mimi!" "It's fine. So tell me how are the others. I've heard there's a new concept this time," Mira says, curious. "Yeah, the new model is really pretty and she has a great personality." He responds. "Already planning on leaving me?" She mocks him. "Ah! no no..I think Yoongi's already got her eyes on her"

"Yoongi!" Mira exclaims, shocked. "Well If Yoongi likes her, she must be really special," Mira says. "Yeah, she is" Jin confessed. He hung up the phone after bidding her goodbye, allowing her to pack hurriedly for the flight.

next day

Mira was walking on the beach whose address Jin had sent to her, searching for him. When she finally found him, her face broke into a huge smile. He was standing near the water, in search of her. She ran up to him and gave him a back hug, her arms barely wrapping around his broad shoulders. Jin turned around and looked at her with a huge grin on his face. He kissed her like he had been craving for her for months, only pulling away to breathe.

"Mimi!!! Ahhh I missed you sooo much!" He said twirling her around, her giggles making him feel at home. "I missed you too Jinnie," She managed to stutter out while trying to catch her breath after giggling so much.

They just sat on the sand, enjoying the sea and the presence of the other next to them. Mira told him about her hectic week- the fan signs and other events. Jin told her about the new model Seo Ah and how he thought she was perfect for Yoongi. He even told her the new dad jokes that he had picked up, his glass-wiping laugh that she had grown to love so much making her laugh as well.

She heard distant chuckles and conversations, so she turned her head in the direction. She saw Yoongi with a tall girl with long straight hair and heart-shaped lips. She was gorgeous, and the way Yoongi looked at her, she could tell he really liked her. She was certain that Seo Ah Liked him as well, just by the way they were so comfortable around each other. Much like her and Jin.

Her stomach grumbled loudly. She knew Jin heard it as well. Her cheeks turned red with embarrassment as he giggled at her adorable flustered state. The light bulb in her brain switched on as an idea struck her. She turned towards Jin, a smirk on her face. "Wanna get some free food?" Upon hearing her, Jin's face displayed a smirk as well. "Oh hell yeah!"
