Amusement Park || Yang Jungwon ff

Bumping into you

Y/n pov
"Well it was really nice meeting you, I'm—" I was cut off by Hye-jin grabbing my wrist and running off to the next ride.
"Omg! That ride was so much fun! I'm so glad we didn't skip it just because we had three people" Hye-jin exclaimed, still feeling the rush of excitement from the ride.
"Oh right...so how was the ride? We noticed one of the guys behind us in line sat down next to you" Kimi said giving me a questioning look.
"It was a little awkward at first, but we were able to make a small conversation" I said slightly smiling to myself remembering the earlier events.
(During the ride)
I felt my heart start to beat faster as we inched closer to the peak height of the ride. Just as we were at the top, the ride slightly stopped giving us the chance to see just how high we were. My heart started to beat even faster and I began to hold onto the seat rail tighter. The boy must've noticed this because right as the cart began moving again, he gently put his left hand on my right hand in attempt to calm me. I could feel my face heat up slightly at the unexpected contact despite the cool air rushing past our faces as we went downhill at a fast pace. I looked over to see him facing forward slightly biting his bottom lip trying to avoid my stare. Yup...I'm definitely blushing right now I hate myself.
(Back to present)
"Y/n?! Ya~ what's with that look on your face?? Where's your head at?" Hye-jin asked shaking her head.
"Huh— oh sorry" I said looking away a bit embarrassed that I had been caught daydreaming.

3rd person pov
The three girls went on about two more rides before getting hungry, deciding to stop and get in line for some food. The girls had now acquired one corn dog each along with funnel cake, cotton candy, and a churro to share. They had honestly intended to only get the corn dogs, but their sweet tooth's were calling out to them. They found a small table and sat, placing their food down. They each ate their corn dogs first so they wouldn't feel totally guilty. After finishing their corn dogs they immediately started digging into the funnel cake together, thoroughly enjoying it. They then decided to get up and take the cotton candy and churro with them on the go. They noticed what a beautiful day it was at the amusement park and decided to take some pictures to remember the fun day (but also to post on their insta). They took a couple of cute selfies together with their food of course bc who doesn't love food. The three continued walking around taking pictures in various places where the scenery was beautiful. Hye-jin and Kimi were standing together posing for a photo while y/n was blindly backing up, unknowingly to her about to bump into an unexpected certain someone.

Jungwon pov
"Heeseung how are you still running?! You've been running around like a child since we got here!!" Sunghoon complained.
How did I end up with such crackheads for friends? I really thought Heeseung was normal at first...oh but how wrong was I. And Sunghoon...he seems normal but he is the biggest crackhead in disguise.
I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't notice I was about to bump into a familiar girl.

Y/n pov
"Ouch!" I said as I fell to my butt after colliding with something...or someone behind me.
Hye-jin and Kimi quickly hurried to me in concern.
"Oh my gosh!! Y/n are you okay?" Hye-jin yelled, worry apparent in her voice.
I slowly got up rubbing my sore butt. As I looked up to see who I had bumped into my eyes widened a little in shock to see such a familiar face.
"O-oh my god! I-it's you again!" I stammered out.

Heeseung pov
"Hey Sunghoon, where'd Jungwon go...??" I asked confused as to where the younger boy had gone off to.
I began looking around a little worried since the amusement park was big and I wasn't sure where I'd last been with him. Ughh if only I'd have been a better hyung and not been running around all day like an excited child! This wouldn't of happened if I had just walked alongside Jungwon and Sunghoon like a normal person my age would. That's when I spotted Jungwon...on the...wait what?? Why's Jungwon on the ground? I quickly approached him suddenly hearing a girl that I hadn't noticed until now say, "O-oh my god! I-it's you again!" I was confused until I looked up to see a girl that looked seemingly familiar to me for some reason. That's when it clicked.
"Oh!! You're that girl from earlier when we made Jungwon sit next to you!" ...oops I probably shouldn't have said that out loud but too late now right...

Y/n pov
"Oh!! You're that girl from earlier when we made Jungwon sit next to you!" the boy from earlier said rather loud.
"Oh...hehe yeah I guess that's me" I said awkwardly not really feeling comfortable with the current situation I was in, but thank god the last one of them came in cutting us off.
"Omg can I not get a break today? What's with all the running around? If I wanted to be running I would've taken up K-hyung's offer to run with him" the light brown haired boy said huffing with his hands on his knees. That's when he looked up and realized the presence of me and my two friends.
"Hey...aren't you the—"
He was cut off by the other boy's reply of, "Yes Sunghoon!! You would know if you'd of kept up with me when I ran off to find Jungwon...wait a minute. Where were you this whole time?!? I asked you where Jungwon was...were you even looking?"
By now the older two were getting into a petty argument and I could see how the boy, I guess his name is Jungwon, was staring at me a little uncomfortably, not sure what to do in this situation.
"Are you okay?" He asked in the sweetest voice I'd ever heard.
"Oh, uh yeah I'm fine" I said to him, "How about you? Are you okay? After all, I wasn't the only one who fell, you also fell down."
"Oh yeah. I'm fine" he said giving me a small smile of reassurance.
"I'm Jungwon by the way" he said holding his hand out for me to shake.
He's so formal, it's cute though.
"I'm y/n" I smiled back at him trying my best to not be awkward and as friendly as humanly possible for me.
He still seemed a bit awkward, probably because his two friends were still arguing and cause he didn't know what to do now that we'd finally introduced ourselves. I decided then that I wanted to mess with him a little.
"Hey...you know it's kinda crazy that we bumped into each other again considering how big this amusement park is...you weren't...I don't know...maybe stalking me, were you?" I playfully asked Jungwon. I was a little confused and surprised to see his eyes go wide and hear him yell "NO!!" embarrassed as a slight blush formed on his face. A small laugh escaped my lips as I looked at his flustered state. He looks so adorable and innocent right now.
"My gosh! No need to get so defensive and embarrassed, I was only joking" I smile at him.
"Ahhh that was a mean joke" he slightly pouted.
My hearteu— he looks so cute!! Just like a bunny!

Ok so I was supposed to update this a while ago but I got lazy oops...also this was supposed to be a one-shot all written in one chapter but I never have the time to just sit down and write :(( Anyways I'm so happy that Jungwon got first in the finally global voting!! He finally got the recognition he deserves from the fans! I actually almost thought he wasn't gonna make it in when his name hadn't been called yet cause I thought for sure Sunoo would get first again, so I was really sad but when they announced Jungwon as first place...holy fack my heart- that's the happiest I think I've ever been in my entire life no joke. I really miss all the iland dropouts but tbh I can't imagine EN- any other way now and I'm so proud and happy for the boys who made it into the debut group! And for all the ilanders who didn't get to debut ofc I'm very sad but they have so many loving fans and I know all the eggies will be waiting eagerly for them to all debut!! (Forever will stan ot23 <3) Ok I won't make this A/N as long as last time since they are kinda...ok well maybe super boring lol. There will be another chapter but tbh I'm not really happy with how this one turned out (also it's kinda short) so I might revise it before publishing part 3 but we'll see if I have time...but for now, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and hope to see you in the next one (and hopefully it'll be out sooner and not take like 2 weeks) Much love to my fellow eggies/Edens <3
