Tara

I woke up with a throbbing headache, thanks to the girls out I had with Cas yesterday.

I got up from my king-size bed and kissed my teddy bear. Childish?, yeah... But I really love teddy bears.

I did my prayers and went to the bathroom to freshen up. I left the bathroom some minutes later and wore a blue tank top with a black mini skirt and went to the kitchen.

I poured myself some quantity of cornflakes with moderate milk and sugar. I added water and ate it before I took the paracetamol.

I left the kitchen for my room to pack the things I will be needing at Ikorodu for the weekend. After I packed it, I took a broom to sweep the house.

Having satisfied with the chores, I went to the bathroom for a cold shower. I wore a blue strapless gown and marched it with a pair of black sandal.

I sprayed my Nautica perfume and took my car keys. One last look at myself in the mirror, I locked the house.

I started my car and drove out of the compound, all the way to Ikorodu. I arrived at Ikorodu some hours later and drove to the Banks' mansion.

I honked at the gate and Kabiru, our gatekeeper opened the gate.

"Small madam, welcome,"

"Kabiru how are you doing?"

"I dey o (Am fine),"

"Please, take all those things in the booth inside,"

"Okay ma."

I entered into the house and met my parents watching T.V in the living room.

"Mum, Dad,"

"Omotarami, bawo ni (How are you?)" Mum asked

"Mum am fine, what about you?" I asked her

"Am good,"

"Daddy's girl," My dad called me that one name I don't like to hear

"Daddy, stop nah," I whined

"What?"

"The name," I said playing along

"What name?...Come give daddy a hug," He said grinning

That was the only invitation I needed, before I sat on his lap.

"Wale, leave this girl to rest," Mum said

"Abeg (please) Ronke, leave my daughter and I alone. Even the girl isn't complaining, right Omotara," Dad said with the hope to annoy her more

"Yes dad," I replied playing along with the game

"You see." He said making some mockery face at her

That was how we play our games. My dad and I would gang up against mum to annoy her. At first, she took it serious but later on, she saw no big deal in it.
