SHE SMILED BRIGHTLY AS SHE WALKED DOWN THE STAIRS OF NEW TROLLMARKET, her new home. Greeting all the other trolls as she passed by them, the new safe haven was somewhat like their old home but had some obvious differences.
A long time had passed and Elizabeth slowly began to change, physically and somewhat mentally. Her hair white hair now had a streak of black going along the side of her head, while she was still her same old self, the influence of the war and being half troll changed her.
It amazed her how fast they had managed to get this place up and running, as she moved through the market she went towards the new forge where Claire waited for her "thought you bailed?" she asked with a smirk on her face. Like the streak of black on Elizabeth's hair, the growing streak of white on Claire's hair changed her from what she once looked like.
Elizabeth shook her head "just a bad sleep routine" she said before summoning her sword to her hand. She nodded towards the weapon rack next to her "you're not taking a weapon?"
Looking down at the rack she frowned slightly before smiling as she saw something that resembled her staff "Got one right here"
Liz shook her head and got into stance "a stick isn't gonna do much"
Scoffing she defended 'we'll see!" she charged at Liz and the two of them clashed weapons.
Elizabeth had an advantage over Claire with her strength and height, But Claire had an advantage over Liz with her agility. She dodged her swings but the two were now at a stalemate, Elizabeth huffed lightly and noticed the opening she had. Swinging Claire's feet from under her she managed to knock her to the ground "Impressive" she stated before lowering her sword down "But a bit sloppy" she said advising before helping her up "you've gotta notice if your opponent has any openings for you to use against them."
Claire crossed her arms and asked "What do I do when my opponent is a foot taller than me?"
Elizabeth chuckled sheepishly scratching the back of her head "this wasn't by choice" yelling she charged at here and their weapons clashed again.
Blinky smiled lightly as he walked into the forge with his staff in hand, seeing the two of them sparring "apologies for being late girls, but it is good to see that you have begun your training."
Claire smirked lightly and saw an opening on Elizabeth's side, she pushed her back and swung her staff at her side. Elizabeth grunted as she was knocked down, sitting up on her arms she mewled when Claire pointed the sharp side of her staff towards her, Claire grinned "what was that about being sloppy"
Staring at her blankly she pushed the staff aside and stood up "I won the first time, so we're at a tie!"
Blinky chuckled and walked towards them saying "the two of you have become amazing combatants"
"It has been awhile since the two of us have used any chaos" Liz said nonchalantly before continuing "it's best to improve at least one mechanism of self defence."
