My stomach wrenched and I heaved, throwing up an unknown substance. I took a few seconds to cough and settle my stomach but when I opened my eyes and saw a long tunnel underneath me, I gasped and panicked, jumping back. My back hitting the side of the cage as it jerked with my movements and began moving.

"Hey!" I screamed, looking up as the tunnel started coming to an end.

I pulled my body into a ball as the cage went faster, not making any sort of move to stop. But it didn't. It jolted hard and I sat up as the door opened above me. Shielding my eyes with my arms, I pressed my back harder against the side of the cage as two boots hit the bottom of the cage hard.

"It's a girl..." A boyish voice said.

My eyes slowly got used to the light but I never dropped my arms.

"Don't just stand there Gally," Another one said from up higher. "Help her up!"

"Get up, Greenie!" The boy named Gally grabbed my arm and pulled me to my feet.

I stumbled, my legs weak from the lack of use and obeyed as he pushed me out of the cage. Two other boys grabbed my arms gently and hauled me up out of the cage.

Gally came up right behind me and grabbed my arm again but harder, making me wince.

I couldn't explain what came over me but something about ripping my arm from his grasp, and back handing him across the face felt right and way too easy.

A bunch of the boys gasped as Gally reacted quickly. His hand came down hard across my face, sending me to the ground by its force.

The sudden pain made me see stars as I laid on the ground.

"Take her to the pit!" Gally roared.

Two boys grabbed me again and started pushing me somewhere. I didn't get a chance to see much. In under a minute, I was shoved into a prison cell made by bamboo bars and hay.

I didn't fight.

I couldn't.

Instead I pulled my knees up to my chest and put my head down, trying my best to hide from the world.
