Sea Turtles

Paul woke up from being unconscious laying down. He hoped he wasn't drowning.

"Dude? Focus, dude. Dude?" he heard a voice say.

Paul opened his eyes to make out the face of a sea turtle.

"Oh! Paul McCartney lives! Hey, Macca!" said the turtle.

"What happened to me?" Paul moaned.

"I saw the whole thing, dude. First you were like "whoa" and then we were like "WHOA" and then you were like "whoa...."" said the turtle.

"What are you talking about?" said Paul.

"You, Macca man. Taking on the jellies. You got serious thrill issues, dude. Awesome" said the turtle.

The turtle's bouncy swimming made Paul a little sick.

"Oh, my stomach. Ooh..." Paul moaned.

"Oh, Macca. No hurling on the shell, dude, okay? I just waxed it" said the turtle.

"So, Mr Turtle..." Paul began.

"Whoa! Dude, Mr Turtle is my father. Name's Crush" said the turtle.

"Really? Okay, Crush. Listen, I need to get to the East Australian Current. EAC?" said Paul.

"You're riding it, dude. Check it out" said Crush.

Paul looked back and saw that there were more and more sea turtles riding the current.

"Okay, grab shell, dude" said Crush speeding up.

The current sped up and eventually slowed down.

"So. What brings Paul McCartney on this fine day to the EAC?" said Crush.

"Well, my mates and I need to get to Sydney. Oh dear! My friends! Are they alright?" said Paul.

"Oh, the other Beatles. They're fine, dude" said Crush.

Paul saw the kids playing with some baby sea turtles.

One of the baby sea turtles was launched out of the current and Paul tried to save him.

"Whoa. Kill the motor, Macca. Let us see what Squirt does flying solo" said Crush.

The baby turtle, Squirt, eventually made it back.

"You so totally rock, Squirt! Oh. Intro. Beatle, offspring. Offspring, Beatle" said Crush.

"The Beatles?! Sweeeeeeeeet!" said Squirt. "Totally" said Crush.

"Well. I see our music made it all the way to the sea, uh... dudes" said Paul.

"You rock, dude!" said Squirt.

"Oh, it's awesome, Macca. When little dudes are just eggs, we leave them on the beach to hatch and then goo goo g'joob, they find their way back to the big old blue" said Crush.

"hey, Paul. We see you've made a friend" said Ringo.

"Hey, Paul. Did you die?" said one of the baby turtles.

"Sorry. I was a little vague on the details" said Charles Wallace.

Looks like the sea turtles are becoming loyal friends to Paul.
