                Sebastian POV

I can't believe she really left I thought she would have come back and changed her mind but she never did it's been two days since she left and I miss her like hell today instead of moping around the house like I've been doing the past 2 days I decided to take the kids to the beach we all need some fresh air the twins are still babies so Callum and hope agreed to look after them while I take Josie and Ethan to the beach and maybe after we can get some ice cream I still remember introducing them yesterday Josie was so angry she didn't talk to me for the rest of the night I hope taking her to the beach and to get some ice cream will help her ease up on me a little I've never seen her so mad before and I don't want to ever witness it again

I walk upstairs making my way towards Ethan's room which is in between mine and Josie's room yes she was mad but she still got to know him and he became overprotective of her at least I know If something happens to me he'll take care of her I gently opened the door to see Ethan sleeping holding a sleeping Josie I couldn't help myself I began snapping photos and sending them to Avalon she loves moments like theses I walked over them and gently shook them awake

"Mm 5 more minutes" Josie mumbled But Ethan immediately woke up

"well Josie I guess no ice cream or beach for you" she shot out of the bed shaking her head and rubbing her eyes

"No dada I'm up, see my eyes are open and wide awake"

"I see did you shrink" she gasped angrily

"I did not I'm five I'm a big girl"

"Mm well since your a big girl maybe you can get dressed by yourself now"

"I can, I can, I show you"

"If you need help just ask your big brother"

"Okay dada"

"Ethan"

"Yes dad"

"I bought you clothes so don't worry you have everything you need if you don't like it while were out we can go to the mall and get you some more clothes"

"No I'll like it thanks dad"

"Your welcome oh but we still need to buy you some toys for your room but we'll do that another dad it'll be bounding time"

"Thanks dad, this means a lot to me"

"No problem, Your my son it's my job to take care of you"

I walked out the room and walked into mine and Avalon's room picking out an outfit I took a quick shower and got dressed when I was done I brushed my hair grabbed my wallet put it in my pocket and walked downstairs to see the kids dressed and ready I'm sure Ethan helped Josie but I'm not going to say anything I'm just happy to see her smile and if getting dressed does that I won't ruin it for her

Callum and hope finally arrived to look after Juliana and Jasmine while I'm gone I say my goodbye's as I walked out the door with Ethan and Josie I helped them in the car and buckled them up I walked on the other side of the car getting in making sure I'm fully secured I drove off to the ice cream place as I was driving I glanced to my mirror to see Ethan and Josie holding hands and talking quietly I smiled slightly and turned back to the road driving to our destination

We finally arrived to the ice cream shop I looked at all the flavors and decided to try something new so I got cotton candy ice cream Ethan got double chocolate chip cookie dough and Josie got Vanilla and chocolate swirl just like her mom once we got our ice cream we all sat down and began eating our ice cream in a peaceful silence

Once we were done we got in the car and decided to head over to the beach hoping to relax we made it to the beach the kids literally ran out I followed them to the beach we spent most of the time playing in the water I tried and failed to making a sandcastle it's not as easy as it looks I packed up our stuff ready to head home when my phone began to ring I look at the caller ID to see it's Callum My stomached turned I just have a bad feeling

"Fratello, devi tornare a casa adesso!" (Brother you need to get home now!)

"Perché cos'è successo?" (Why What's Happened?)

"C'è stato un attacco a casa Juliana e Jasmine hanno sparato, il dottore si sta occupando di loro ora devi venire qui chiama Avalon" (There was an attack at the house Juliana and Jasmine have been shot the doctor are tending to them now you need to get here call Avalon)

"Sto arrivando" (I'm on my way"

I rushed the kids to the car and made sure they were secured I hopped in the seat buckled up and called Avalon she's going to blame me if they die

"Hello? What wrong?"

"Ava I'm sorry I'm so sorry"

"calm down just tell me what's wrong"

"While I was at the beach with Ethan and Josie I had Callum and hope watch the twins but..."

"What just tell me Bash your scaring me"

"There was an attack at the house the twins were shot my doctor are looking after them I'm on my way there now"

"FUCK" she never curses and I don't let her but I'll let it happen this one time

"Just come to see them"

"Me and Javier are on our way"

"Alright see you then love"

She hung up and I drove to see my babies I hope their okay they have to be okay if their not I'm going to blame myself for the rest of my life that I could have saved them that I let my princesses die

We finally arrived the kids fell asleep on the way home I picked them up and laid them in Ethan's bed and covered them up I walked to the room the doctor is to see him walking out he sees me and panics

"How are they"

"Stable I don't know if they're going to survive the shot their bodies are still fragile so it's just a waiting game I had to put them in coma but I don't know if their ever going to wake up"

"Your'e telling me I have to say goodbye to my babies"

"It's just a waiting game sir I'm so sorry"

I balled up my fist clenching my jaw getting ready to beat the fuck out this doctor when I feel a pair of soft hand touch me and pull me into a hug "Calm down Bash their going to wake up their fighters"

"Do you believe that"

"I do now it's just a waiting game let's rest"

"I need to see them"

We walked in the room to see my little girls laying there hooked up to machines that are keeping them breathing I can't lose them I Just can't I don't think I'll survive if I lose them.
