Mia's P.O.V

My alarm blared, jolting me awake with a slight headache. I got up and headed to my walk-in closet to pick out my outfit for the day – a white crop top. After getting dressed, I went downstairs to join my parents for breakfast.

"Good morning, guys," I said, exchanging pleasantries with my mom and dad.

The island was filled with scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and pancakes. I helped myself to two of each.

Just as I finished eating, Hailey texted me.

H: "Hey Mia"

M: "Sup, Hai? Ready for school?"

H: "Yeah, I am. U?"

M: "Almost finished with breakfast. Text you later."

H: "Yeah, see you at school."

After saying goodbye to my parents, I grabbed my Audi R8 keys and headed to school.

At Richmond High, I parked and met up with Jesse and Hailey. We exchanged waves before grabbing our bags and heading to our lockers.

"What's your first class?" I asked.

"English," they chimed in unison.

"Me three! Looks like we're in luck so far."

"I hope the day continues like this," Jesse added.

Just then, the bell rang, and we headed to class. But before we got far, someone collided with me, spilling coffee all over my white blouse.

"You twit, you just spilled coffee all over my white blouse!" I exclaimed, my anger boiling.

Lucas's P.O.V

My alarm signaled the start of my day. I got ready, wearing black fitted jeans, a muscle tee, and Jordan's.

Downstairs, everyone was there except Jonathan.

"Where's Jonathan?" I asked.

"He's getting ready," Jasiah replied.

I grabbed my frosted flakes but found the milk carton empty.

"Noah, did you do this again?" I asked, sighing.

Jonathan emerged with Jasiah.

"Good morning, guys."

We exchanged greetings.

Jonathan reached for a granola bar, startling when he saw me.

"Were you going to eat that?" I asked, teasing.

Everyone laughed.

"Come on, guys," I said, heading to my black Ferrari.

On the way to school, I stopped for coffee. As I walked into school, the bell rang. I quickly got out of my car and collided with a girl in a white crop top, spilling coffee all over her.

"I'm sorry," I said.

"Yeah, cause I'm invisible," she retorted.

"Let me make it up to you. Join me tonight after school?" I asked, hopeful.

She searched my eyes, then agreed.

I wanted her as gang mother – strong, independent, and confident.
