Cindy POV
I've always felt awkward about being the only one with a boyfriend. I know I don't have a reason to, but I really do. As high schoolers, the rest of the girls need a man. So, as you would think, I've been anticipating the princes. Now that Mulan says we have all of the princesses, we can begin our hunt for the princes. All of the princes go to our school, which makes it easy. However, only the certain princess herself can discover her prince, so I can't help. But, Rapunzel has been talking to this really popular bad boy named Flynn. I have to admit, he is QUITE attractive, but he's not really my type. The Winter dance is coming up soon, so I'm hoping this is when Rapunzel and Flynn hook up. Mulan also says that only one princess can meet her prince at a time. So I guess the rest of the pack will have to wait!
Elsa's powers are getting stronger by the minute. Any time Elsa is filled with any emotion, snow pounds down outside. I just hope other people at school like Elsa's powers as much as I do. Not only am I concerned about Elsa, but also Anna. Apart from my stepsisters, I'm an only child. I long for a younger sibling to look after. There is finally someone I can channel this into! Anyways, none of the other princesses have ever had siblings that got really involved. Except for Merida and her brothers. I just hope it's nothing too serious. Because Elsa has extreme powers unlike Ariel's and Rapunzel's, I have a feeling this whole thing could get ugly.
January fourth was the day before we went back to school and the squad was hanging out at my place. I knew today was the day to discuss Elsa's powers at school.
"Girls, we need to talk about something," I said, interrupting the laughter. Everyone looked at me.
"What's up Cindy?" Anna asked. Since Christmas morning, Anna and I have grown to know each other a lot!
"I think we all saw this conversation coming. We need to talk about Elsa's powers and school," I said as I closed my eyes, not wishing to see their dismayed expressions. Elsa sighed.
"Yes, I suppose you're right. We've been putting this off long enough and we can't wait until when I'm in homeroom and it starts snowing because I'm nervous," Elsa agrees.
"Well, there's no point in-" Aurora was cut off by the front door being swung open and slammed shut. Everyone goes silent. Followed by stomping, a man in a winter coat and pantsuit walks in. He has a small mustache and strawberry-blonde hair, cut short.
"Dad!?" Elsa and Anna exclaim, standing up.
"Where have you been?" Elsa and Anna's father scolds. The rest of us just sit, watching.
"Where have we been? Where have we been? You mean where have YOU been? I can't believe you're saying this! You need to ask that same question to yourself and Mom! You left Anna alone on Christmas Eve? You let her get bullied and you let her spend half of her winter break ALONE? You are letting her first year of high school pass by! And me! I don't even know how you found me here because you have never once asked me, 'Did you make any new friends?' And you know what? I did! I did make friends! And luckily for Anna it recently dawned on me that she has been getting no attention so I've decided to let her hang out with us because you have suckish parenting skills! In fact, there is something incredible about Anna and I and the rest of us but you're too oblivious to even notice! So just get OUT!" Elsa was screaming and it was a blizzard inside. And with her last word she swept her arm away and out shot ice. Her father stepped back and gasped.
"Young lady, we're taking you to the doctor!" Elsa's father stepped forward and tried to grab Elsa's wrist but she yanked it back.
"AGH!! Just get out!!" And with that, Elsa stomped her foot, and shot through the roof on a block of ice. All was silent.
"Sir, with all due respect, that was a big mistake. You don't realize how powerful your daughter is and I suggest you sit this one out and let us handle it," Ariel declared, not looking Elsa and Anna's father in the eye.
"Yes, I agree. I think it's best you leave. After all this is my deceased father's property in which I am heir to. So, I demand that you leave my property. Thank you for your cooperation," I said sweetly, shooing him out.
"Right, let's get dressed and find Elsa," Merida stated confidently.
"Yes, it's crucial we find her or else the princess prophecy will be broken," Mulan informs us.
"What do you mean princess prophecy?" Anna asks. We all look at each other.
"If just one princess is missing, we'll each go unknown. You see, none of us are even supposed to know we exist. You see, each princess' purpose is to bring peace and balance to the world. That's why we're supposed to live in different places. But coincidentally, we all live in the same town. However this does make things easier to keep each other safe. And-" Mulan was cut off by Tiana.
"Um, what's happening to my pajamas?" Tiana asks, looking down. We all stare at her and watch as her pj's turn into a beautiful gown. It's light green and white, strapless. Her hair becomes done up in a bun and a crown appears on her head.
"Whoa," Tiana says quietly.
"Oh no, not a ball gown. Mine better not look like that," Merida groans as her sweatpants and tank top are turned into a simple dark green dress. Her hair remains the same, but a bow appears in her hand and a pouch of arrows are strung around her waist. "Hm, not bad."
One by one, all of us are dressed in beautiful dresses and gowns(Aside from Jasmine, who wore a unique two piece I couldn't describe to save my life). In case you were curious, I wore a HUGE blue ball gown with glass slippers. My hair was done up in a bun type of thing.
"This is crazy. Am I dreaming?" Anna said, laughing nervously. I put my hand on her shoulder.
"It's ok, just try to follow along as best as you can. We can't do this without you," I tried to comfort Anna. I can't even imagine how confused she must be right now.
"Right, let's go find Elsa. This will get extremely bad if we don't do something," Mulan said, walking out the door and gesturing us to follow.
"Like what, exactly," Aurora asked, biting her lip.
"Well, since we all bring balance to the world together, if just one of us is missing or far too distressed, we'll all go missing, one by one. And by the time we're all gone, the world will break out into war. So yeah, it's pretty serious. But people are going to freak out because of Elsa's powers. That's why we have to get to her before society and the government does," Mulan said all of this in one breath. We were all silent, walking down the street. Then Rapunzel stopped.
"Wait a minute, where are we going? She could be anywhere! Her powers can clearly take her anywhere she wants to go in a matter of minutes. We have to plan this out." We all nodded. But how could we look for her in such a short amount of time?
"Just an idea, but she probably went somewhere snowy and cold," Ariel pointed out. Pff, of course! Why didn't I think if that?
"But that could be so many places! We have to narrow it down," Belle noted. Anna had been quiet for the past few minutes, but began to speak.
"I know where Elsa is," she whispered. We all looked over at her.
"What?" Merida asked shakily.
"I know where Elsa is," Anna said firmly.
"Tell us! Where?" Snow squeaked.
"Norway. Elsa went to the mountains in Norway. That's the only place she could've gone," Anna told us.
"How do you know?" Jasmine asked curiously.
"Recently she's been telling me how she wants to go there. Constantly showing me pictures of the snowy mountaintops of Norway," Anna concluded, very confident.
"Are you sure?" Pocahontas asked timidly. Anna made direct eye contact with her.
"Positive."***************************************************************************************************************
