"I've gotta go into work." Kells informed me and I nodded. I sat on the rocking chair, feeding Alice.

"Are you just going to stare, babe?" I asked him and he smirked, shaking his head.

"Sorry, you've just got 'em out." He kissed me with more force than I expected, and I parted my lips as his tongue ran over them lightly. He frenched me before finally pulling back with a groan.

"I actually have to leave now. Fuck." He groaned and I giggled, smacking his backside and pushing him toward the door.

"We have a big deal with another ring. I'll be out at meetings until late." He said, and I felt my heart stop for a half beat as I saw him grab his gun on his way out the door.

"Kells!" I called and he poked his head back in the nursery.

"I love you." I said and he smiled.

"I love you more than anything." Kells kissed me again before finally leaving for work.

"Alice, your dad is a big businessman." I said, kissing her tiny forehead.

I laid her down in the crib for a nap and kept the baby monitor on me while I went downstairs.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Dom said as I walked past his office.

"Good, I'm just gonna work out while she's napping." I said and he nodded. Kells and I were lucky that Alice slept through the night, something virtually unheard of from babies. Because she was a premie, she was tiny, and she slept a lot but was quiet and good natured.

I went into our gym room and ran on the treadmill, getting back into shape now that I was healed from giving birth. My belly was getting back to normal, but I was trying hard to lose the baby weight and get in shape so that I could defend myself. I still had fears about Kells' job, but I tried to push them out of mind.

I started to run faster, and quickly I was running at full speed, sweat making my hair stick to my forehead. I was panting and I slowed down as Gwen walked in.

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, I guess I was just thinking about work." I confessed.

"Are you going back?"

"Eventually."

"Can you watch her while I shower?" I asked, handing her the monitor as we went back upstairs.

"I'd love to. Soon she'll have a cousin to keep her company." Gwen giggled, touching her belly.

"When are you due?" I asked, and she looked down at her belly.

"I'm due in October. I'm going to have a Halloween baby." Gwen joked.

"They're going to grow up to be best friends." I said and she agreed.

"They're going to rule the world." I laughed before going upstairs to shower.

I spun around and almost slipped as the shower door opened, covering my body with my arms.

"God, babe, you scared me! I thought you wouldn't be home until tonight?" I asked, pulling him under the shower stream with me.

"Yeah, but other people are handling the meetings. I came home because I need to ask you to do something." He murmured, kissing my neck and shoulders.

"Hm?" I tangled my fingers into his damp hair.

"I want you to host a meeting to get me a huge drug deal with a princess mafia out of Britain." He said in his deep voice.

"Kells you want me to what?" I pushed him back.
