Your POV
I was always alone with no connection with any friends or anyone. What I always do in my life was to read books. Any kind of books, by genre, category, fiction, or not. It makes me feel free from the room of darkness, where I always sit down at my home and do nothing or sleeping. It makes me want to understand people who have experiences and how some relationships may be challenging.
I couldn't try to express with any stunts I could pull. It is too embarrassing for me to do. Still, I don't recall how visualization experiences come into play while I was reading a novel. I couldn't try anything to visualize the character's appearance, the place, and also the events where the character act in what place. It's hard for me to memorize the scenery. Although, I would have try to piece the words together into a general and broad statement.
Reading novels, where everything that readers could visualize their customizing character's appearances. If only that there are no such pictures around.
(A/n: I put pictures in some stories for a reason...)
I calmly take some breathes while I listen to the lecture of language arts class while I am currently a freshman/first-year of high school. I wrote down my notes fast right until the teacher decides to move on to the next slide of the presentation. The teacher asks for any student to answer the question. In a few seconds, he will try to select any one randomly.
First, a girl in long orange-brown hair with her eyes blazing brown, having her rusty orange colored sweater with a hoodie, named Carmell has been asked to answer his question. Due to the fact she's sleeping, she has been humiliated in front of everyone.
Then he selects me to participate and I answered a correct answer since I already took down some notes on my notebook. "Correct!" He well said while clapping. Other students start to discuss this.
In the hallway...
"Hey Y/n, good job out there!" My friend, F/n (Your friend's name) happily greets me. I question why though. "Come on, at least show some respect. You have always been that smart when you think about books." He replied. He was a friend that I met with him during middle school. He even tried reading some books, though it's boring for him.
"Was I ever nice to you because of how people just keep goofing around?" I ask him.
"What? Don't be so sure of yourself. Besides, I wouldn't try to just sleep in a class all day because you end up playing hooky during the rest of the night, wouldn't it?" F/n replied. I never joke around because of how quiet I am. I never try talking to anyone, so I spend the rest of my time reading books instead. "Hey Y/n, look! It's Carmell!" He whispers. He points out to Carmell at the back with her friends. "I guess her hooky plays off again. Sleeping in class, what the heck does she even doing in her house last night?"
"Beats me, not my problem." I shrug.
"Really? Know that she's dumb with just being a hot-headed towards her parents because of their ideal issues and end up fighting against each other. She being picked with some fights against some bullies and she got reported by just beating them up. And even think about busting the superiors who can't believe her. What the worst life she's having." He said.
"Don't know, don't care. If she was here near me, I would just walk away from her no matter what because it is never my problem." I am so lazy with just dealing with other people's problems like this.
"Well, good luck with seeing her if you can. I will head out and buy myself a drink while I can! See ya~!" And here he goes, leaving me without saying even one serious tip. Some people can't follow the rules in school. What a joke. Either way, I'm heading to the library to spend some quiet time with my book that I just borrowed from the library.
