As I said, I was not looking forward to this summer.

Remember Richard? Well, I guess the name fits, because he is a dick. He claims to be a better swordsman than me, and people believe him! Even after I whooped his ass, he just says I cheat!

As long as I have my friends right?

Wrong. Well, not wrong, I guess, because if my friends stuck with me there wouldn't be a problem.

But there is a problem. My friends didn't stick with me. I get blamed for shit I don't even do! And afterward, they beat me up! Whether it is throwing rocks at me, strangling me with vines, or tag-teaming me, they are always trying to hurt. I've never looked around without noticing a glare pointed at me. Whenever they fight me, I never want to fight back. These are my old friends, and fatal flaw just stops me from hurting them. Nico is with me though, which I am extremely grateful for. Thalia is too, but she is with the Hunt.

Annabeth is drooling over Richard. After everything we have been through, I am invisible to her! Maybe if I propose, she will get over it.

Which is what I am planning to do today.

As of now, I'm in my cabin getting ready for a date that I have been planning for a week. I hope she likes it. It is a candlelit dinner on the beach, which Nico helped me set up.

I'm walking to the beach right now, preparing to propose to, my beautiful wise girl.

"Annabeth, why were you ever with that loser?"

"I don't know Rich, just for fame! I would never do that because I love him. I can't believe he even fell into Tartarus for me like he thought I loved him back!"

And then, to my horror, the girl who thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with leaned into my half-brother and started to make out with him.

"You're right, Annabeth, I don't know why I ever fell into Tartarus for you or did anything for you really. And to think I went to your mom, held the sky, trained, studied like I never had before, proved my loyalty, and completed the 12 labors of Hercules. I HAD TO DEFEAT FUCKING LADON! DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT WAS! LADON! NO ONE HAS DONE THAT BEFORE! AND TO THINK I DID THAT ALL FOR YOU! I hope you're happy with Dick here. And to think I was going to propose! You can shove the ring up your ass for all I care." And with that, I chucked the ring far out into the ocean, and walked back to my cabin, where Nico was waiting, with tears streaming down my face.

"Oh, Perce, I'm so, so sorry. It was with Dick, wasn't it? It was! I'm am going to kill that bitch."

"Thank you, Nico, but that is okay, I think I'm--" A bright flash appeared in the room.

"Perseus Jackson! I, Poseidon, am hereby disowning you as my son! You are a disgrace to my name, and I never want to see you in my domain or this cabin again! In addition, I will also be revoking Riptide!" As he said that, a green trident popped up over my head, only to be washed away and replaced by a wave, with an hourglass on top of it. He had a shocked look on his face. He then attempted to take my sword, only for it to return back to my pocket immediately, which it has never done before. Unless in Poseidon's hands, it would take a minute or so to return, and if it is in Poseidon's hands, it wouldn't return at all. It must really love me.

"Wh-what! No! Impossible! I am bringing you to Olympus at once!" And with that, Nico and I appeared on the floor of Olympus.

The whole camp was there, along with gods. Some looked at us in pity, but many sent us glares.

"PERSEUS JACKSON! YOU HAVE HEREBY BEEN DECLARED A TRAITOR TO OLYMPUS, FROM EVIDENCE PROVIDED BY RICHARD AND ANNABETH, AND SHALL BE EXECUTED AT ONCE!" Zeus boomed. "HOW DO YOU PLEAD?"
