I woke up the next morning with a dull pain in the left shoulder. But there was no marks or wounds. Then I thought about what happened last night. I didn't know how he got in or how he left. I didn't know why he was there in the first place. I thought it was a dream. So I carried on with my day.

But as the day went on, the pain got worse and had spread to my upper arm. It was good that is was my left arm because I move that one less then my right arm. But that was only the start.

The next day my jaw hurt. Then somewhere around 8 o'clock I looked in the mirror and saw my "fangs" fall out. I was horrified. Then new, longer ones grew in right before my eyes. Then I lost it. I needed something but I didn't know what. I slowly climbed out a window and snuck outside. Then I saw a squirrel and that was the last thing I remember.

I woke up in my bed. I thought it was a dream again. But when I found my bloody teeth in the bathroom counter, it had to be real. But my teeth were the same they had always been. Strange. I tossed my teeth into the garbage and walked away.

The next day at school the atmosphere algae changed. I could smell better then I ever had. Also, a lot of people had this one particular smell and some smelt different. It was weird. When I walked up to my friend, she smelt different. She also showed my a cool trick to see if you are a mundane, or human, or some other creature. She told me she was a wolf. Then she did it to me, I am a vampire. I didn't know they existed. But when I put the pieces together, it made sense. Then I reminded myself of what a wolf smells like, and carried on.

In the hallway at school, I was walking when I saw him. The boy. I learned from my friend his name was Joey. He smiled showing his fangs. I did too. The he smiled bigger. After that I never saw him in the hallway, just on the bus.
