Humanized

I had chains in all directions. My hands were changed and so were my feet, my waist, and I was in a cage in the cell. They had me locked good.

My friend on the surface, she went by Bigby, offered me glamor so they would be confused but it was too late. I was in the process. This is how it went....

I was in the cage for 3 days, Joey had snuck a wimpy hybrid in for me as a snack. I thanked him like 5 times. Then when they brought him in chained, then hooked him to the wall, I knew it was the day.

He was fighting the hybrids but I was completely calm. Then we were left alone for the next hour while they got everything ready.

"Laura, how are you so calm?" He asked me. "I don't know what humanizing is, or what it does so I don't know what not to fear." "Humanizing is when they turn you back. It's possible, it's the worst punishment they have. It is painful." "Now I know what to fear." I said with a sarcastic smile on my face.

After 29 minutes of silence, the hybrid leader came in. He had a syringe with a needle like 5 inches long filled with green fluid. "Now, this will only hurt a little." He said with the biggest smile. I could tell he hated me.

He unchained my feet and repositioned my other chains so I was in a standing position. Then he said,"I could use a drink." He tightened the chain on the left arm so it was straight out. He had the syringe in his right had and put his left had in my arm under where he was going to bite by four arm. Joey started straining at me saying he was going to kill me but I didn't fight it. I knew what was to come so this must not be that bad.

Then he sunk his teeth into my arm and it hurt. I heard a snap, be broke the bones in my arm at the same time. I screamed in pain. When I noticed I was loosing too much blood to mentally function so I screamed a vamp scream. It is too high for a mundane to here but it hurts hybrids and wolves ears bad.

He let go of my arm held his ears till I stopped 30 seconds later. "That does it!" He screamed. He grabbed the syringe he dropped and stormed at me from where he had rolled away. I noticed one of the other hybrids dropped a syringe with the same liquid. It had rolled to my feet. I kicked it to Joey and the hybrid leader didn't even notice. Joey picked the lock and used the dagger I didn't know he still had to kill the other hybrids.

But by the time he turned to me holding the syringe it was too late. The leader had shoved the syringe into my side and watched as the green fluid went through my veins. I was screaming the scream you would expect to hear if someone was dying. This made Joey mad. He shoved the other syringe into the Hybrid leader and bite his arm. Without enough blood the hybrid wouldn't be strong enough. He drank him dry. He was dead.

Then he turned to me, I had stopped screaming. It still hurt like I was dying. He carefully pulled the empty syringe out of my side. That made it hurt worse. He uses the needle to pick the lock at the chains. As he was, I was breathing hard and noticed my arm was still gushing blood. I might not be strong enough. I might die, but I sent my friends free.

I collapsed when the chains were undone. The cuffs were so tight I had red marks where they were. I also had bruises on my neck. But Joey didn't notice them.

I rolled to my right side, grabbing my left where he had struck me with the syringe. Joey rolled me on my back and looked at the wound from the syringe. It was deep, but it would heal. Then he noticed my arm. He looked scared. I was loosing to much blood to be strong enough to survive the humanizing. That's when we decided he needed to get me back to the vampire base, across the plains. 40 miles away.
