"I..I.." I looked from his bare chest to his lips then to the spoon of porridge he held up and did the unexpected.
I pushed the spoon forcefully towards him and the hot porridge decorated his body. "I don't want you! I don't want anything!" I yelled and began to cry. I shuddered in my cries as he sat there, shocked.
Maybe the porridge isn't hot.
He left the room without a word.
I'm sorry
I don't know why I'm like this"Get up, Deena." I heard him say softly but I ignored him.
I felt him sit close and place a hand on my arm.
"I told you I'll be here, always. Do you perhaps doubt my words?" He sighed a little loudly
Don't Deena
You can't like him"Leave me alone please. I told you I want to be alone!" I screamed
I'm such a fool
I signed up for this
I can never be happy like this
I..will have to end thisI went to the bathroom and washed my face, dabbed it with a towel and applied a little cream.
Abba has not seen me since after the meal
I stepped out of the room and headed towards the guest room. There was no one in the sitting room.
"Peace be unto you, Abba." I said as I entered the guestroom.
"A'ah. What are you doing here, my dear? He told me you were sick." He asked in a concerned tone.
"It was just headache Abba. I came to keep you company. That guy is such a bore." I joked and we both chortled
"Aha. I was actually bored." He sat up and I sat by his feet.
"Why are you on the floor? Sit with me." He patted on the space beside him and I shook my head shyly
"No Abba, I want to massage these tired feet. I'm sure it's been a while."
We chatted as I massaged his feet. He told me about his youth days. He used to be bullheaded until he met Khalil's mother. She had made him the gentleman he was today. They had just two kids, Khalil and his younger sister, Fatmagul who was around thirteen now.
I also told him about my childhood days and how much of a talkative I was except that I didn't tell him about the ugly part. I skipped it. I didn't forget to tell him about my Abba
