I was sitting in my room, throwing a ball at the wall like they do in prison.
"Alexander!" called my dad, "Would you be quiet for once in your life?"
"Dad, I'm ten now, can't I go outside and play?" I yelled back.
"Well," said father in a fake, girly voice, "I would let you, but you got suspended from school for punching an adult!" his voice deepening again into the angry voice Alex had learned to absolutely despise.
"That guy?" I yelled "He wouldn't trade me ANYTHING for his money!"
"It was the bursar!" father yelled back. "Of course he's not going to trade anything! That's the schools money!"
Ugh... he was SO annoying sometimes.
TEN MINUTES LATER
"Dad!" I yelled.
No response. I went downstairs to see what was up. I looked all around but he wasn't there. Then mom walked in the room from outside. "James, I'm home!" she yelled.
"Mom! I can't find dad anywhere!"
"What? That doesn't make sense, he never goes anywhere unless it's for his booz- alcoholic beverage that you shouldn't drink." She looked around and he wasn't anywhere. "But we already have some alcoholic beverages that you shouldn't drink... Alex, come with me."
"Wait a second, I found something! It's a letter. It says - oh." I said, reading the letter.
"What does it say, Alex?"
"He hates us. He hates us so much that he left our house forever and he won't come back." I said. "And you know what? I hate him too. He hates me, I hate him. It's a win-win."
"Alex, don't talk like that! Let me see the letter." I showed it to her. "Oh... Alex, let's go outside. We're going to start a rescue mission."
Alex: ...
Father: ...
the bursar: ...
Alex: We're on an island that half the people in the world don't know about, and no one knows dad and/or hates him.
"You're right. Let's forget about him and move to America!" mom said.
One month later
"We're here!" my mom said.
"Yay" I said.
(I'm getting bored so let's get to school now)
