{Sara}

"Peace out Bri!" I yell tiredly, hurrying out the door. I pull my jacket tighter around my frame, as the cool September air blows around me. I keep my head down as I walk the few blocks to my apartment.

"Hello Ms. Sara" Edith calls from her seat behind the lobby's desk. I give her a small smile and wave as I head towards the elevator. I push the UP button and wait impatiently for the doors to open. I let out a sigh when the ancient doors slowly begin to open. I walk inside and press the number 2. I lean against the railing and try to stay awake.

"Come on, come on, come on" I mutter as the doors open once again, slowly. I walk down the narrow hallway, and stop in front of my apartments door. I quickly pull out my key from my pocket and push it into the lock. I jiggle the key around a few times until I hear the click of the door being unlocked. I sigh in relief and push the door open. I look around at my small apartment. It contains a small kitchen, a small bathroom, a small couch, and a small dresser and closet. Basically everything is freaking small. Except my huge bookshelf that fills up an entire wall. But not only is it filled with books, it's also filled with comic books, video games, and movies. That I play on my small television. I hang my key on this nail sticking out from the wall. I take off my jacket and beanie and hang those as well. I slip off my vans and place them neatly next to the door. I double check to make sure my door is locked, before I head over to my bed. I put my glasses on the nightstand and literally flop on my bed. I start to fall asleep just as the sun rises into the sky.
