"Would you like to explain yourself" Charley demands, tapping his foot and looking at me with crossed arms.

"I didn't set my alarm" I mumbled, looking down in embarrassment. I hear him sigh and I look up at him sheepishly.

"Your lucky I like you" He mutters and grabs his bag from the floor. I smile cheekily at him and he rolls his eyes and exits the shop. I sigh in relief and walk behind the counter. I start to hum as I drum my fingers on the hard surface. I can't help but to wonder if that handsome stranger is going to make an appearance again. Just as I start to lose hope, I hear the door open and walks in the man. I straighten my posture and fix my glasses.

"Hello..again" I say as he slams down another $5 bill. He grunts and walks to the same booth. I quickly make his coffee and walk over his booth. "Here you go" I say cheerily, trying to get him to say something.

"How did you know I wanted this?" He asks, as he takes a sip.

"Lucky guess"

He nods and stands up and pushes past me. "Expect me here, same time, same drink, same booth, same amount" He tells me as he leaves the building. I stare at the door and watch him walk across the street. He looks back and I can faintly see a smirk on his face. I blush and quickly walk back around the counter. I put the $5 in the cash register and take my original spot, leaning on the counter.

"Bye" I yell as the door shuts behind me. I slowly make my way back to my apartment, enjoying the silence of the early morning. I give Edith a short wave and make my way to the elevator. I groggily push the buttons and wait for the doors to open. I open my apartment door and go through the motions of taking off all my stuff. I put my glasses down and quickly brush my teeth and unwind my hair from its braid. I slowly crawl under my covers and close my eyes, dreaming about a certain mystery man.
