My blood ran cold when I saw Suga taking slow steps towards us. His eyes fixed on Eunwoo, the same deadly look on his face. I jumped out of my chair and stood in front of Eunwo who was calmly seated on his chair. My hands stuck out in the air in defense, as if they were barriers that Suga couldn't pass. Suga paused for a moment, his eyes scanned me from head to toe. He scoffed before continuing his little walk towards us. My eyes traveled to Jungkook, his sick smirk was now replaced with an amused face.
No, he was not actually amused, he was mocking me with that look on his face. My heart thudding inside my chest. I was getting more and more nervous by every step taken by this deadly silent Suga. "Hana, what are you doing?" Eunwoo asked in a panicked whisper from behind me. I tried keeping the bold look on my face, tilting it just a bit to catch a glimpse of Eunwoo.
"What do you mean by what am I doing. Can't you see I'm protecting you," I answered in a whisper laced with the same panic.
"Like that? It's making you appear so childish. Stop." His hands were now tugging my arms down in an attempt to make my barriers go down.
"Shut up Eunwoo you know nothing. You are new, I'm experienced." I turned to Eunwoo and gave him a glare before turning to Suga again and changing my expressions back to fierce.
"You are the one who doesn't know. You should act tough in these situations. Go, sit back on your chair calmly." I rolled my eyes before turning my head to him.
"How the fuck am I supposed to sit calmly?" I turned back to Suga and Jungkook who were now looking at us with not so amused faces. I passed them a forced smile before going back to a pissed look. I was trying so hard to give them an expression which says I dare you to come closer but this idiot behind me was seriously pissing me off.
"Like me!" Our once low whispers were now getting louder as the conversation between us was now turning into an argument.
"Aren't you scared?"
"I'm but I'm not showing. Are you always so stupid or is today a special occasion?" That is it. How dare he call me stupid when I'm the one actually taking a step in front of a gang leader, not him. I turned to him completely.
"Stupid? I'm not stupid, you are! You are the one supposed to protect me not me!" I was pretty sure they could hear us but I didn't care, how dare this scared cat call me stupid? That's a hit on my ego.
Eunwoo opened his mouth to speak but Suga cut him off by clearing his throat. I turned to him, "Shut up we are not done talking." He raised an eyebrow seeing my irritated eyes and an unharming palm focused his way. I turned back to Eunwoo and raised an eyebrow. "Don't you have something to say in your defense, bugger!"
"I'm sorry if I offend you when I called you stupid. I really thought you already knew." My mouth hung open on his words. I felt two pairs of fingers push my jaw upwards in order to close my mouth. "Close your mouth baby." My eyes went on my left only to see Suga trying to keep a straight face. Did Suga just insult me?
"I hope you both step on a…" I started waving my hands in the air trying to think of a painful thing.
".. a lego!" I gave them both the most hurt look I could. Suga raised his eyebrow, his eyes silently taunting me, is that what you have got? A faint chuckle left Eunwoo's mouth but a burst of loud laughter caught my attention. I turned around to see Jungkook laughing. He is more expressive now. "You too!" I added.
Suga cleared his throat once again, shutting Jungkook up in an instant. The room was now deadly silent. I started getting nervous once again. My eyes landed on Eunwoo and I saw him gulp hard.
Why the hell Suga takes centuries to speak up.
My eyes were now watching Suga's every moment closely. Even though he was not even moving. His left hand started moving and my sweat ran cold. He grabbed Eunwoo's shoulder and I quickly went into action mode.
