"Insects." I turned to her voice.

"What?"

"Insects are a sign of water nearby. And this area has a ridiculously huge amount of insects. We need to look for water." So we practically exchanged souls here. She is now the miss know it all.

"How?"

"By concentrating on the sounds." She closed her eyes and I looked at her as if she was going bonkers. I mean, what are you? Blessed with super hearing abilities?

She started walking and I just followed her. Maybe, I should let her take the lead now. Besides, I don't really have the energy to argue or lead. Just after a few steps, I could hear the faint sound of water flowing.

"Oh my God Hazel, you are a genius." A huge smile spread across her face and I started walking faster towards the sound. We soon reached a small spring. The water was flowing, so it was the maximum clean water we could find. I saw Hazel reach down and wash her hands before collecting some water in her palm. I couldn't wait, so I just leaned down and started drinking directly from the spring. It was just the right amount of cold and tasted so clean. Instantly, I felt my insides freshen up. This alone provided me with the energy to keep going.

"Slow down." I heard Hazel laugh as she leaned down to brush the hair out of my face. "I can't imagine you being a mother of a 3 years old when you act like a 5 years old." I smiled. But suddenly her features changed into worry and I saw her looking at my feet.

"We must wash your wounds." She pointed towards my feet and I nodded. I placed my leg on the surface and dropped a few drops of water and it burned like hell upon touching my flesh. I stopped, closed my eyes, and hissed.

"Keep your eyes closed." I did and she took advantage of my blindness. She placed both of my feet inside the water. I screamed as I felt the pressure of water hitting my exposed flesh.

"Fuck you, Hazel." I tried taking my feet out but she protested.

"We can't disinfect your wounds so we need to wash them properly. This is the least we can do to prevent infection." This reminded me of the time when I yelled at her about protecting your body from diseases or infections for the time we reach home.

I didn't say anything. I hate it when she is right. I let her do whatever she was doing and kept my eyes closed, burying the pain in.

"Wait here. I will get something for you to cover your feet for maximum protection." I nodded and she left.

I looked at the water and a wave of nostalgia hit me. I had always used the word nostalgia but it never really hit me this hard. I hated this bittersweet emotion. I smiled at the memories attached to this scenery.

"Have you ever gone skinny dipping?"

"No."

"You are so innocent."

"I can change that, Hana."

"I can't do this, Suga. Please."

"It will get better."

"You are officially mine now."

"It hurts."

"Shut up."

I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Why does he always have to ruin things for me? Why is my love so destructive? I remember just how it was a sweet moment in the pond and the next moment he wanted to have sex with me. He made sure that I was wet and ready for the intercourse. He even went gentle at first but then he lost control.
