𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬 (UNDER EDITING)

Staying with Ellie was always a blast. You played video games together, wrote, drew, and so much more. Her sarcastic and caring personality was always fun to be around. You assumed that's why you caught feelings for your friend.

    "Come on, y/n, I'm tired," Ellie whined, followed by a yawn. You frowned at her, opening your mouth to claim she was being a wimp, but a yawn of your own escaped your body.

    She laughed at your yawn and said, "See, it's not just me. Let's go to bed,"

    You groaned as you set down the ps3 controller and grabbed your bag. "I'm gonna go change, 'kay?"
    Ellie nodded as she turned the gaming console off and drew back the covers of her bed. Before she climbed in, she threw on a t-shirt and shorts, and got two glasses of water, placing one of each on her nightstands.

    She heard the bathroom door unlock, and you walked out in a sports bra and sweats. He cheeks heated as she looked away from your exposed torso, busing herself with fluffing a pillow.
    You yawned again as you set your bag down and climbed in her bed, taking a quick sip of the water she had gotten you.

    She got up and walked over to the light switch, looking over at you. "Good?"

    You nodded and said yep, pulling the covers up as darkness flooded the room. You heard light shuffling, and soon the bed dipped under Ellie's weight as she laid beside you.

    "Good night, Ellie," You whispered as you smiled at her, even though she probably couldn't see you because of the lack of light. She repeated your words back to you, and a comfortable silence rested over the room.

Thirty minutes later, you found yourself unable to fall asleep. You kept tossing and turning, though you tried to keep it at a minimum due to Ellie being right beside you.

Sometime during your unsuccessful attempt to get comfortable, Ellie's hand snaked around your waist and tugged, pulling you against her.

Assuming she was just doing it in her sleep, you stilled, hoping that she wouldn't wake up. When her breathing seemed to be back to normal, you twisted again, this time facing her.

Her mouth was parted slightly as she breathed, soft snoring noises came from her as she slept. You thought she looked peaceful. Beautiful, even.

Shaking yourself from your daze, you settled closer to her. Your mind was whirring with anxiousness and excitement at being this close to your crush. Stealing glances at her every few seconds, you moved once again, sitting up this time.

"I love you," You confessed quietly, taking a second to lean in and apply a quick kiss to Ellie's cheek. Only for her to move, shifting slightly, and just enough for your kiss to land on the corner of her mouth.

Eyes widening, you pulled back quickly, muttering oh fuck, please still be asleep.

When her eyes didn't open, you sighed and tried to nestle back into her arms. Happy with your position, you closed your eyes.

The last thought to cross your mind being i'll tell her soon.
