Our greatest fear (book 1)

Chapter 10

Donnie's POV

We heard a scream coming from a room just ahead of us.

We all knew that it was Raph.

Leo opened the door.

He went in first.

In this room the lights were on.

And we found exactly what we expected.

Tiger Claw guarding Raph.

Raph was tied up against a chair.

But what we didn't except was that over Raph's head was saw hanging by a rope!

And the saw lowered by the minute!

Right now the saw was high up, but that wouldn't last very long.

"Let's cut the rope!" Mikey called.

"If we do that, the saw will fall on Raph!" I explained to Mikey.

"Then maybe we shouldn't do that." Mikey said.

"Well are you just going to stand there?" Tiger Claw asked.

Leo took out his katanas.

I took out my bo staff.

And Mikey took out his nunchucks.

We began to fight.

Well as soon as I have a chance, I'll sneak off and untie Raph.

But for now, I'll fight.

After seven minutes of fighting, the saw got lower, and lower.

I had to untie him soon.

Or it'll be too late.

I took my chance.

I ran over to Raph while the others fought Tiger Claw.

The first thing that I did was try to move the chair away from the saw.

But it didn't take me long to figure out that the chair was bolted to the ground!

I took the piece of ducked tape of of his mouth.

"Shhh." I told him.

I grabbed my knife and started to cut the rope that tied Raph to the chair. 

"Donnie!" Leo called. "Watch out!"

I looked to see what was going on.

And the next thing that I knew, I was feeling pain and seeing nothing but stars.

I laid on the ground not having one clue what was going on.
