"RICKY, NINI! WE'RE BACK AND MIKE IS WITH US!"

"Well looks like that bridge came sooner than expected." Risky says as he holds his girlfriend in his arms running is fingers through her hair. She sighs and pulls out of his arms.

"We should probably go downstairs and break the news." Ricky gives a sad smile and grabs her hand as they make their way down to their parents.

The couple makes their way down to their parents to explain the unexpected news.

"There they are." Mama D says until she sees the look on the kids' faces. "What's the matter kids?"

"We need to talk to the three of you." Nini speaks up.

"Why all three of us honey?" Asks Mama C.

"We should probably sit down." Ricky adds. They all make their way into the living room. The adults sit on the couch and their children sit down in front of them on the coffee table.

"What's going on kids? You're scaring us." Says Mike

"There is no easy way to say this to you guys but it is something really important that you guys need to just relax and let us explain."

"Okay honey. We're listening."

"Okay." Nini takes a deep breath. "I'm pregnant." All three of the adults jaws dropped to the floor. Then Dana says.

"Oh. Um okay well we will get you an appointment with the gynecologist and find out all the details."

"Don't worry honey we will help you with this okay. If you want to keep the baby we are here for you." Carol chimes in.

"Wait you guys aren't mad?" Ricky asks.

"We are disappointed but we understand. Your mom and I were your age when we had Winter." Mike explains. (We are going to pretend that Ricky has a sister.)"We just have two questions. One, how did it happen? I thought you guys were being careful."

"It's my fault I forgot to take my birth control a couple weeks ago."

"Okay, second do you want to keep the baby?" Ricky and Nini turn and look at each other. They both know the answer by looking in each others eyes.

"Yes." They both say.

"Okay then we will call the doctor and get you an appointment." Dana says.

~Three Days Later~

Ricky and Nini are leaving school on their way to the first appointment with the gynecologist.

After about twenty minutes of waiting they hear.

"Nina Salazar-Roberts?" The young couple stands up and walks to the doctor. "Hi Nina I'm Doctor Miller."

"It's nice to meet you." Nini says shaking her hand.

"And you must be the father."

"Whoa that's going to take some getting used to. I'm Ricky." He says shaking her hand as well.

"It's okay you are not the first teen parents I've gotten in here." She chuckles. The couple smiles and follows her into the room. "Okay Nina I need you to lift up your shirt." Nini lifts her shirt above her belly "This is going to be kind of cold." Dr. Miller squeezes the gel onto Nini's stomach and she tenses up.

"Wow you weren't kidding." She chuckles.

"Okay let's see here. It's looking like you are about three weeks along. Now I would suggest that you not tell to many people until you are through your first trimester because there is a chance for miscarriage. Now you are perfectly healthy and I'm not even remotely worried about you having one.  Also with how small your body frame is your belly won't grow to incredibly big. Your stomach will probably look like how most women's look at about twenty weeks. Now do you have any questions?"

"How long till we find out the gender?" Ricky asks.

"Around the eighteen to twenty-one week mark." Ricky and Nini nod their heads understanding everything she is saying. "Okay if you guys don't have anymore questions I will go grab your picture and you kids can get out of here and go home." She smiles and walks out of the room.

About five minutes later Dr. Miller comes back in with an envelope with the pictures and some pamphlets about the pregnancy.

"You kids are all good to go." Ricky and Nini thank her and head back to the Bowen household.
