Wow I am really sucking with this story sorry ya'll!

Four weeks later

Today is the day of Nini's doctor appointment to find out the baby's gender.

"Okay Nini, I think you know by now that this is gonna be pretty cold, you ready?" Nini nods her head as Ricky holds her hand. The image of the baby comes up on  the screen and Nini feels the tears start to well up once again. Just like all of her appointments. "Okay Nini there is your baby." The doctor says pointing to the screen. "Do you want to know the gender?"

"We want an envelope. We have a gender reveal party tomorrow." The doctor nods her head and leaves the room.

~The Next Day~

Ricky's eyes slowly flutter open as the light peaks through the curtains. He groans and closes his eyes again and rolls over to snuggle with his girlfriend. Just as he is about to hold her his arm drops to the cold sheets. He pops his head up with a confused look on his face. He throws the blanket off and just as he is about to get out of bed Nini steps out of her bathroom wrapped in a towel. He looks at her and smiles. She smiles back and walks over to his side of the bed and stands between his legs. He rests his hands on the back of her thighs. She leans down and presses a kiss to his lips. As she pulls away he moves his hands to her stomach.

"How's our little bean doing this morning?" Ricky asks as he presses a small kiss to her belly.

"Kicking the crap out of me." He frowns and kisses her stomach again.

"Hey, you be nice to your mama." Suddenly the baby's legs stop kicking.

"How do you do that?" Nini asks with a chuckle. 

"I guess I'm just the favorite parent." He says with a shrug. She scoffs and shoves his shoulder. 

"Jerk!"

"You love me." She smiles.

"More than anything." She kisses him once again. "I'm gonna go get dressed. I got you a blue button up to wear." Ricky groans and throws his head back. "I know you don't like getting dressed up, but today is important. You are not wearing a hoodie and sweatpants to our gender reveal. Please wear it for me?" She said with big puppy dog eyes and the pouty lip.

"Fine, only because I love you." She squeals and gives him one final kiss before running off to get ready.

A few hours later everyone had arrived and the party was in full swing.

"Okay everybody! It's time to find out the gender of the new Bowen baby!" Kourtney exclaimed Every one cheered. "Okay Ricky and Nini follow me." They follow behind to two painting canvases hanging on the wall. "Okay, so how this works is you guys are going to be blindfolded and given a paint brush and paint that is the color of the gender. You then are going to, still blindfolded, paint a picture of a baby. You have thirty seconds to finish the painting. Once the thirty seconds is up you will take your blindfolds off and find out if you are having a girl or boy. Then you can hang them in the baby's nursery."

"Aww Kourt. This is a beautiful idea. I love it. Thank you so much." Nini says hugging her best friend. 

"You're welcome Neeners." The couple turns to the canvases and are given their blindfolds. Then the paint and paint brushes. "Ready set go." As the couple begins to paint the rest of the guests start screaming and cheering. "Times up. Take off your blindfolds." 

Ricky and Nini remove their blindfolds to see the horribly painted... 

PINK babies. Nini slaps her hands over her mouth as the tears begin to fall and she jumps into Ricky's arms. He holds her close and spins around.

"We're having a girl!" Nini says through the tears.

"We're having a girl." Ricky smiles and leans down to kiss his girlfriend.

Yay we found out the gender! I hope you guys liked this chapter. I'm so sorry it took so long to get out. This story is not going as smoothly as I would like it to.

Also sorry I couldn't show you the paintings. I got this idea from my youth leader doing it for her sister's gender reveal so I don't have a picture.
