Chapter 8.

Madison POV
I handed Harry his drink as he said he was going to take a break. He went to go sit down next to Ron who seemed to be upset that Harmonie had arrived with Viktor. I just started dancing with a random group of people who seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. I then felt some hands in my waist to see some eyes i have never met before, he looked a little older than the others.
"You are so beautiful, sadly Draco has you." He smirked evilly at me. I looked at him confusingly and in disgust, i grabbed his hands and pushed them off my waist.
"How about you go find another girl to torment, now let me be." I turned in my heels walking away as Draco stopped me in my tracks pulling my arm.
"How do you know him?" He asked curiously.
"I don't, he just randomly came up to me. He seemed to know you however." I said raising a brow at Draco.
"Well Malfoy is a prestigious name." He smiled.
"Oh and you forgot egocentric one as well." I laughed.
"Very funny, you still owe me a dance." He said looking at me with hungry eyes.
"Let's." I replied stretching my hand out for him to take. I led him towards the dance floor where he turned to hold my waist and spin me, we slowly started moving to way of the music. I loved feeling him with me, the way his body was meant to be against mine, the way his hands would perfectly hold my own. I looked up at him and smiled,he couldn't stop just wandering his eyes all over my face as he pressed his lips against me. It was as if that moment it was only him and i, we were abruptly separated as Pansy showed up again.
"Have you not heard me? I said back off my boyfriend You trench!" She yelled at me, soon she grabbed a drink from somebody's hand throwing it at me. I gasped at the coldness as it hit my face and dress, anger flashed before my eyes.
"I'm not one you're going to step all over because you're just a Slytherin!" I grasped my wand flashing it before her saying words I probably shouldn't. "Crucio!"
Soon after Pansy dropped to the floor screaming, the music stopped and everyone was looking at the scene i had cause. Draco was frozen he didn't know what to do, Snape pushed past him as he stopped her pain and grabbed me by my arm escorting me out. Harry followed behind as so did Draco, Snape was walking in such a hurry as if he had forgotten i had heels on.
"Where are you taking her Professor?" Harry yelled making him stop in his tracks. He slowly turned to him as i saw Harry and Draco stand in front of us.
"Ms. Diggory has to go see Dumbledore, it is also none of your business Mr. potter, you both go back to the ball." He said "Draco i suggest you check on Ms. Parkison." With that being said he turned again taking me to Dumbledore's office. Dumbledore was already sitting waiting for me as Snape sat me down, he looked down at me as if nothing had happened.
"Madison what happened?" Dumbledore asked.
"I don't know, I didn't mean to do that to her." I replied. "She had just tested my patience and I don't know why i said those words." I sighed.
"Madison, you understand that's an unforgivable spell?" He asked.
"Yes! Which I don't know why i did it. Professor please I didn't mean the damage i have done." I pleaded. Dumbledore took a deep breath as he looked at Snape who was just looking at me.
"Madison, you must be punished, therefore you help Professor Snape in all his classes and in whatever he asks of you." He said "I do believe you meant no harm, you are a bright student, don't let it repeat itself." I nodded at his demand as i got up to leave, Snape stayed behind speaking to Dumbledore. Harry was waiting outside, it looked like he was deep in thought until he heard me to which he stood up.
"Mady what was that?" He asked.
"I don't know Harry, i really don't know where that even came from." I sighed.
"You were jealous mady." He said, i shook my head.
"I would never do that especially for a boy, i was just angry at her remarks and the way she came at me." I replied.

Two days had passed since i was helping Snape with classes as my punishment, Draco was hardly in his classes he was always with Pansy at the Hospital wing which I didn't care much because he was her boyfriend. Today would be the last tournament, Ced was upset about my actions but we loved each other too much to let it get to us. After class i ran up to Ced before the tournament started i hugged him tightly.
"Please don't go." I whispered.
"Mady i will be fine dove." He said. "I will be back and we will go out to celebrate with some butterbeer."
I couldn't help the uneasiness my heart felt, my brother looked behind me as he smiled. I turned to see father who had ran up to hug Ced, when the embrace was realeased he looked at me the way he only knew how when he was upset with me. He didn't say nothing just fake smiled and joined Ced in a conversation. The tournament was about to begin as i took my seat towards the front where the competitors's parents would be seated I spotted Draco towards the top as he cheered not acknowledging me. Ced came up to me and kissed my check, i smiled at him and hugged him once more not wanting to let go.
"Promise you'll come back to me Ced. You're all i have." I whispered into his neck not letting go. He pulled me apart so he can see me in his eyes.
"I promise Mady I love you." He smiled.
My eyes were threatening to water but i smiled and whispered a "I love you too." The tournament had begun and they were off, i was getting nervous as i saw Fleur's firework come up. Where was he? It seemed to be hours until they arrived both Harry and Ced. Everyone cheered until Harry wouldn't move, i gasped as i moved past everyone and dropped to Ced's side. He was dead, my strength was demolished as i cried and started to yank Ced in attempts to wake him up. Father ran after screaming "my boy!" As well, I didn't want to let go I couldn't.
