Sweet little Diggory (Draco Malfoy fanfic)

Chapter 10.

  Madison POV
Luna was holding our hands as we walked to the grand hall for Cedric's speech. Cho was completely distraught, i felt her pain but I couldn't cry anymore. Instead i holded Cho as well trying to calm her down, she adored my brother and i was happy to atleast have her by my side. As soon as we walked in everyone just stayed quiet and stare, some were confused as in to why my eyes shed no tears, as in to why i seemed calm. We sat on our usual seat as i glance over to where Cedric would normally be as Dumbledore spoke, he shared some beautiful, kind words of my brother. We were finally released so we can also say goodbye to our guest, I spotted Harry in a corner as i walked up to him.
  "Can we talk?" I asked. He nooded his head as we took a glance to make sure nobody would notice we were gone. We finally reached the Astronomy tower and i stood next to the bars followed by Harry.
"What exactly happened when Ced died?" I asked, i wanted to know everything,i wanted to know how he was killed and why.
"Mady are you sure you're ready to know?" He asked worried. I nodded my head to which he sighed and started explaining how Cedric was ready to fight when he was strucked with a spell killing him instantly, he also explained how he had seen him as he fought Voldemort.
   "He asked for me to bring his body back to your father, he also said that he loves you very much and he will look after you." I dropped to my knees and just cried into my hands, i let all my pain out. Harry bend down and rubbed my back in comfort, I wish he could be the one to tell me he loved me in person, I looked up at the sky releasing my final tears as i stood up.
  "Thank you." I smiled at Harry and walked away.

It was the final day of school before summer, I had no news from father I'm sure he didn't care about my whereabouts or how i was dealing. I walked towards the train station to walk Draco, he was being extremely nice and gentle with his choice of words.
"Are you sure you'll be okay?" He asked, I nooded my head.
"Yes." He hugged me one last time and turned. "Draco?" He turned around to face me. "I want you to know I appreciate you being by my side and I love you, never forget that." His eyes widened as i had never said that.
  "You know I love you as well but why are you saying it as if it was goodbye." He asked concerned, i shook my head and looked into his eyes.
  "No don't think about it that way I'll see you in two months." I assured.
"I love you Madison." He smiled and kissed my lips, Draco and I weren't dating but it sure felt like it. We heard a cough behind us as i saw a tall figure with long blonde hair.
"Draco why are you still speaking to this creature?" He asked looking down at me in disgust, I didn't look away as my eyes pierced his as well.
  "She was just leaving dad." Draco explained, he turned to look at me. "See you later Madison." I walked past his dad never breaking eye contact to finally get back on the train to head to my so called home. As we arrived i waved goodbye to Harry and the Weasley's as they offered a home if i ever needed anything, i pushed my luggage to the nearest bus stop. After what seemed like minutes i was standing in front of the door i dreaded to open, it took all of me to finally turn the knob to see father in the couch with the tv on. The house was completely destroyed, there was broken plates everywhere, beer bottles on the floor and the house seem extremely dusty. As I approached my father he had a beer in one hand, he looked up at me and rolled his eyes.
  "You're back already." He said rather annoyed.
I already knew what was to come seeing as Cedric was not here and he wouldn't be walking past the door anytime soon.
"Father I'm sorry, my brother-" I was cut off by him throwing the beer bottle across the room. I jumped at the terrible sound of glass breaking, he got up from his seat grabbing a fistful of my hair.
  "You shall never mention Cedric, he was not you." He answered angrily, i was trying to get him to release the hold he had on me but only failed as he dropped me on the floor. A tear shed but i cleaned it up with my sleeve, i kneeled in front of my father.
  "Father please." I tried to hold his legs in a hug when he pushed me down kicking my ribs. I gasped for air, he turned only to go up to his room leaving me laying on the floor. I must've past out seeing as i woke up and nighttime had struck,i got up as i felt the pain in my ribs i was sure they would bruise. Father walked past me turning the tv on, i walked behind him.
"Father please it is not my fault Ced died." I cried.
He was furious he turned around with anger in his eyes pushing me hard against the wall.
   "I told you not to mention his name!" He yelled.
I stood up only to be pushed and kicked again "Father please." He looked at me once more before picking me up.
   "Bring me Cedric back!" He slapped me across the face dropping me to the floor once more. I got up struggling but managing going up to my room, i had to think of what to do. How could father hold so much anger? I didn't kill Ced, i grasped a screamer and wrote to Harry explaining my quest. I thought to myself if Voldemort killed him I'm sure he could bring him back.
