Madison

I woke up the next morning to birds chirping from a distance. The cold breeze made my skin tingle, i just now realized i fell asleep with the balcony open. I sat up in the bed rubbing my eyes hoping my brain would catch up. There was flapping, i walked towards the balcony and spotted an owl- Cedric's owl. It landed on the grey gravel as it stretched his leg towards me revealing the roll. I grasped it in my hand letting the parchment tickle my skin.

      Dear Mady,
I am panicking, i came home and father was dead. I need you, please come. I'm not sure what to do, i know you both did not have the best relationship. However i still believe you'll like to come see him.

    With love,
                       Cedric.

I sighed, running my fingers through my tangled hair. I walked towards the bathroom to get ready for the day. I'm sure maybe i could escape for a couple of minutes, i wanted to be there for him as emotional support. I walked down into the dining hall in a black long sleeve shirt, a plaid skirt that was a couple of inches above the knee and my knee high black boots. Everyone was sitting in there spot like the last time i had been here when Bellatrix decided to curse me.

"Goodmorning Sweetie." Narcissa said.

I smiled gently at her whispering a good morning, i grabbed a cup of tea- taking a longing sip.  Draco handed me a plate so i could gather my breakfast. Everyone was silent, the only noise coming out from our silverware. I grabbed a napkin dabbing it on my lips placing it on my lap after.

"Bella i need to go out today."  I demanded.

She looked up from her food, leaning into her hand studying my face. A smile spread across her lips, she slouched into her seat tapping her nails on the table.

"He knows."

I nodded my head breathing in "Yes."

Narcissa looked over at Bella and back to me. Once she saw neither of us spoke but just stared at each other she glanced at Draco who shrugged his shoulders.

"The lord won't allow it. He won't trust you so easily."

"I know, I already proved you my loyalty.-" She raised her eyebrow at me, narrowing her eyes. "He needs me."

"Fine." I sighed. "You can't be long, any funny business and you and i will be dead."

I nodded my head standing to my feet.

"I won't do anything stupid." I replied.

Bellatrix gave me a slight nod. I was walking towards the door when Draco grasped my wrist making me face him. His eyes looking into my face worryingly.

"I'll come with you."

My eyes widened, i looked over behind Draco to Bellatrix. She had a smirk on her face as she lifted her brows. Wondering how i was going to explain to Draco what i had done.

"Uh-"

I glanced to draco and over at Bella trying to beg her to help me with my eyes. She stood to her feet clearing her throat.

"Draco, you can't go we have training today and i would like to start immediately. Madison is capable of looking after herself."

"That's settled then." I said clapping my hands together not giving draco time to speak.

I kissed Draco on the cheek running out of there before he could follow behind. The hallway seemed longer than usual, maybe it was just my nerves. I stepped into the drawing room closing my eyes trying to picture the home i was so used to and the one i had recently visited. I felt the familiar suction and nausea as my air hitched in my throat. The house seemed darker, and sad. All the windows showed no sign of light except for the living room. I grabbed the doorknob but decided to knock instead. I couldn't barge in the way Bellatrix had, it wasn't my style.
