"Draco you're doing it wrong!" I laughed.
Draco and i have been making gingerbread houses. I know Christmas had passed but i wanted to show him how fun it could actually be. After my chat with the dark lord I didn't want to take anything for granted. Especially my time with Draco, I love him very dearly. He showed me that he was there for me and I was going to make sure that no harm comes to him.
"This is hard. Who the hell said icing would work as glue?" He groaned as his roof and walls tumbled down for the fifth time.
"You're just nervous and that is what is making your hands warm causing the icing to become runny than thick." I shrugged.
"I'm sorry I'm not cold hearted." He joked.
"Ha. Ha. Very funny." I replied sarcastically.
I wanted to hold on to these memories before i was taken over by evil. The idea of knowing that i was going to help the dark lord get the prophecy Harry was supposed to get got me a bit wary. I'm not only betraying a friend but also myself. I never thought i could ever turn into this disgusting human being. I wanted to spent a lot of time with my loved ones for when everything hit the surface and they hated me, i would atleast have those happy memories to help me through my darkest times.
"This is the most complicated thing ever. Can't we just use our wands?" He complained.
"No Draco, there's no fun to that." I pouted.
Draco dropped the icing leaning his chin into his hand starring at my masterpiece. I placed the final gumdrop on the peak of the roof and smiled to myself.
"See? It's not that hard." I bragged.
"Yeah easy for you to say you've probably done hundreds." Draco rolled his eyes.
I sighed turning my gaze towards Draco.
"Actually this is maybe my second time. I never really got to do this stuff because, well let's just say i was never loved." I gave simpler answer as I didn't want to talk about my past.
Draco seemed to catch on, he stood to his feet extending his hand for me to take. I looked up at him in a questionable manner, but still took his hand. He led the way towards the drawing room.
"What are we doing here?" I asked.
"Stop talking."
Draco sat in the black shiny stool and patted the side beside him for me to take. He gracefully pranced his fingers along the keys playing a feathery snow like sound. My ears seemed to be getting blessd by such beautiful tune. My eyes followed his feline fingers playing the symphony. I wish i could lay down and allow Draco to play like this for me forever. Draco stopped his finger movements making my eyes divert to his own.
"Why'd you stop?"
"You try." He suggested.
"Oh no." I shook my hands vigorously. "I suck at playing piano. You keep going."
"Come on it's not that hard." The pale boy exclaimed.
He grabbed my wrist leading my fingers to the keys. I looked down at my fingers as Draco showed me what key to hit. It was difficult to keep up with his movements but after a while of practicing i got it a bit better. I smiled gently at Draco, i noticed his eyes weren't on mine but on my lips. They parted slightly realizing he was leaning in slowly. His eyes were about to close when i stood up abruptly. His eyes shot open looking at me confusingly.
"Uh- let's go grab some tea I'm quite parched." I suggest.
"Oh, uh okay." He replies avoiding my eyes.
