Chapter 24.

Draco

I woke up the next morning feeling a lot better than before. The dark lord made it clear that i had to be there for Madison to protect her, or to help her drown her sorrows. It was just so difficult seeing the new bond she created with that pathetic death eater. I rolled out of bed heading to my bathroom to take a shower and get ready for the day. I checked my watch showing it was eight am sharp, i knew breakfast was being served so i headed down to the dining hall. When i walked in my father's eyes looked at me in displeasure for not knocking showing my manners. I followed his uneasy gaze to spot Voldemort at the end of the table. Madison was to his right sporting a white turtleneck and skinny jeans doing wanders to her curves. Ankle boots with a small heel was decorating her feet, and small pieces of jewelry were on her wrist and fingers. The white made her dark hair and deep dark eyes stand out. I realized i was starring a bit too much as my mum cleared her throat.

"Draco, honey come take a seat." My mother demanded.

I walked to sit next to my mother a couple of chairs away from Voldemort and Madison. I guess I must've been really in a trance that I didn't even notice Crouch sitting in front of Madison.

"Draco, come sit next to Madison." The dark lord ordered.

"Yes my lord." I stood and walked around sitting next to her.

She turned her head and smiled softly at me. I'm guessing she wasn't angry at me anymore or had the urge to be away from me. We sat there as we filled our plates with food the dark lord only snapped his fingers and a full plate was in front of him. Madison placed a warm cinnamon roll in her lips, she placed it back down as she chewed slowly. What caught my attention was the way she brought her index finger to her full lips licking and sucking slightly. I bit my lip at her action but heard a snort from across the table. My eyes directed my way to see Crouch notice me starring at Madison. He placed the goblet to his mouth clearing his throat to suppress a laugh and took a sip of his drink. Madison looked over at him confused but he only shook his head and mouthed a "later". I sighed in defeat knowing he was going to tell her and I couldn't help the embarassment that was taking over me. We all continued our breakfast the only sound in the room being the cutlery.

"Narcissa, Lucious i ask you to welcome my beauty back again into your home. Make her feel like it is hers as well. I will be leaving for the remainder of their break. However Crouch is coming along but will return a couple of days before they return to Hogwarts. He will be here to look after my Madison." The dark lord stood to his feet and we all followed. He stepped in front of Madison taking her hand in his placing a light kiss on her knuckles, she bowed her head slightly. "Madison, trust Crouch here, he is very loyal. He has proven he's worthy of being here today. He will be your right hand man, anything you need- he's the one."

She looked over at Crouch and smiled at him to which he bowed at her. I internally rolled my eyes and looked at him disgusted. The dark lord left along with Crouch and i felt like i could actually breath. It looks like my parents felt the same way seeing as how they relaxed. Madison sat back down and continued eating her breakfast, i plopped next to her taking a sip of my coffee. My parents excused themselves to wish their goodbyes to the dark lord. I looked to the door that was now close and looked back at Madison who was sipping on her tea.

"How did you sleep?" I asked.

"Wonderful, thanks for yesterday by the way."

"Don't worry about it." I shrugged.

She shook her head and placed the cup down onto the small turquoise china plate.

"No really, who knows what would've happened if you weren't there."
