It was her moment.
Andy would finally be able to prove her values.
She was going to score this goal at all costs.
Taking a deep breath, she glanced briefly at the bleachers. She could see Big Red and Ricky talking animatedly. It seems that the duo had decided to support her anyway.
It was good. Awesome even!
It meant they didn't blame her for what happened at lunch.
But now was not the time to think about the drama.
She had to keep her head in the game.
She returned her eyes to her opponent guarding the goal before taking three steps back for momentum. She released the air she had just trapped in her lungs before suddenly rushing forward to kick the ball.
Soon enough, she felt her foot hit the ball, letting her fall back on her feet while following the trajectory of her projectile with a deep sense of nervousness.
However, a sudden cry of joy left her lips at the sight of her opponent narrowly missing the ball.She fell heavily to the ground with a small cry of frustration as Andy raised her arms in victory.
"Yes!"
"Youhou! Andy! Yeah!"Big Red cried as he stood up along with Ricky to chant her name in the euphoria of the moment.
She let a laugh out loud as they gave a secret handshake before shaking her head through her giggles. It wasn't long before she became sober again as she was hearing the coach's Jensens thunderous voice."Lopez! Bring your skinny little ass back here!"
The brunette froze as she shared a nervous gaze with the boys across the pitch before swallowing as she trotted off towards the tall gruff coach. She could feel the attentive gaze of the boys on her back as she finally stopped at the coach's height in apprehension.
"Did you want to talk to me?"Andy asked, suddenly shy as she lifted her eyes to look at the imposing woman.
"Can I know what you just did?"She asked sharply leaving Andy to hesitate, speechless.
