Act One scored on every level.
Sure, there were some last-minute cast changes. But the show reached new heights and everyone's true colors shined.
And now for a flawless Act Two.
Now...
"What did you do to Ricky?"
It was the first thing Andy heard as she made her way backstage. It turned out that Miss Jenn had decided on this exact moment to take her first whim turn of an aspiring star. A fucking strawberry soda.
Andy still couldn't believe the strawberry blonde had called her out at such an important time. She hadn't been able to remove the image of Ricky's face for a single moment from her mind. He had looked so devastated.
"Ricky?"Asked the brunette Lopez calling out to the Caswell duo before squinting at EJ in threat."Where the hell is Ricky?"
The brown knowingly widened his eyes before rushing to defend himself for his own sake."I didn't do anything. He asked me to fill in."
"Sorry what?"
"So it's true. You're actually going on as Troy."
Andy gave Ashlyn an outraged look in disbelief."Come again ?! I leave for five minutes and everything turns into chaos?"
"Whoa big pep talk, Ads. I don't feel attacked at all."
"Assaulted? Attacked! I'll show you what it's like to be assaulted!"Andy threatened as she raised her fist to punch the idiot before stopping at the last moment in a second thought."Actually, no. I don't have time for this. I have to find Ricky."
She immediately turned to the open door simply to pause at the sight of Carlos making a dramatic entrance into a basketball set far too big for him.
"Go, Wildcats!"Screeched the little glasses microbe in excitement before stopping beside EJ with his fist raised."You ready?"
EJ punched his fist against Carlos's with a critical grin before walking away.
"Pray for me."
"No. No, no, no! Does anyone care what happened to Ricky?"Andy snapped, opening her arms wide in outrage.
Carlos shrugged visibly barely shaken before giving a nonchalant look at the brunette Lopez."Well, that's your job to know that. Until then the show must continue."
