Wheezy brought ruby home later that evening and when they walked in their jaws hit the floor. The casino was pure chaos. Two broken poker tables, smashed liquor bottles everywhere, half the bar supplies destroyed, Phear was actually on fire as he sat on a barstool but since he was a skeleton it didn't really seem to phase him, the devil was passed out upside down on his throne and dice was stuck on a crystal chandelier by his suspenders.
His face turned bright purple at the sight of his mother and he chuckled. "Oh! Hiya mom! Uh...listen this looks way worse than it is..."
"The kids lying. He and Satan got into a truth or dare match about ten minutes after you left." Phear said.
Ruby had to lean on wheezy to stay on her feet and she felt her eye actually twitch. "Wheezy..."
"Yeah boss. Wish I could but you know you cant."
She groaned and pinched the bridge of her nose. He already missed drinking. "Fine. Just...help me fix this please."
He nodded and rolled up his sleeves after taking off his coat and hers and throwing them over a chair that wasn't dirty or broken and went to get brooms and trash bags.
Ruby stood under dice and sighed before spreading her wings and flying up to get him before she made him go get water to put Phear out. She then turned her sights on the devil and glared. How did she know he was responsible?
She went to him and after a few good heaves she managed to get his arm around her shoulders and was able to drag him off to bed.

Ruby stayed up half the night taking out the broken glass and bits of poker tables to the dumpsters and making sure everything was clean and fixed before finally managing to go off to bed with everyone else and the next morning she was the first one up.

When people would file out of their rooms to come to work they would see ruby in her office working on something very intensely, as if she were planning a second to second account of the next year...

"Dice! Lucifer! Mr. Wheezy! My office please!" She called as she saw everyone out on the floor working or in Lucifer's case messing with people.
The three exchanged looks but followed her order and walked in, the devil immediately lounging on her sofa she kept in there and dice and wheezy moving to stand in front of her desk.
"What's up mom?" Dice asked and she smiled, patting a large stack of papers. "This is for the three of you. You can use it as a reference any possible forceable situation over the next... year. I'm going to be going off the island for that amount of time."
The devil shot up off the sofa and looked at her as if she had just spoken in tounges. "Excuse me? I know I miss heard you. I thought you said you're leaving for a year."
She sighed and folded her hands on her desk. "I am. A friend of mine called me yesterday. Her husband just passed away and she's pregnant. I always told her if she needed anything I'd be there well... She needs me now. Which means I'm needing the three of you to be responsible and keep this casino from burning to the ground. I came home yesterday to it in shambles! I don't wanna see it when I get back from being away a year if you don't behave." She said, patting the papers.
Lucifer came around her desk and lifted her chin, "You can't go. I won't let you."
She glared lightly. "Lucifer... we are not repeating the 1700s here. I'm not being locked away. I have something important I need to do and you can live without me for a year."
Dice looked between the two and gasped, "wait! Hold on! Are you two....dating?"
Ruby sighed and rubbed her temples before elbowing Lucifer in the leg. "Good going fur ball. Yes dice. I know it's a little odd but we are. That's not important right now though. What is, is that I need to know you can help keep this place afloat while I'm gone. I'm putting you in charge of taking over my shows while I'm away. You have a fantastic voice so it'll be great for everyone to hear a guy sing for once."
Dice blushed and glared at the devil who glared down at ruby.
"Please boys. This is very important. I leave tomorrow and need to know you can handle it..." She pleaded.
Dice and wheezy sighed, nodding in defeat and Lucifer growled and nodded as well. "Fine." He muttered.
