Chapter 13: Dark Secret

I thought my anger for the ones who killed my father was gone years ago. I don't like the idea of seeing them, but destiny led them to me.

Hinawakan ko ang balikat ko na may tama.

"Fuck you Ranay! You and your son made me change into a monster and turned me to be a killer." I angrily shouted at him.  He just laughed evily after hearing what i said.

The people who i loathed the most are the ones who killed my father

"Fuck your father too! Ako ang nauna sa nanay mo, nagpatulong ako sa tatay mong ligawan ang nanay mo but he betrayed me. Your father and Lim betrayed me." Galit na saad nito. I saw a little bit tears in his eyes flowing down in his cheeks but he then wiped it.

Naguguluhan ako. What does he mean?

["D-don't listen to h-him. Your father and I never betrayed anyone even Ranay"] saad ng lalaki sa kabilang linya. Is it Mayor Lim?

Dahan dahan kong itinapat sana ang baril kay Ranay ng naramdaman kong may tumutulo nang dugo sa gilid ng tyan ko. All I can feel is pain and anger.

Nasimulan ko ng lasahan ang sariling dugo ko kaya di ko na nahintay pang may magsalita.

Bumaril ako sa likod ko, narinig ko naman napadaing ito. Sabay baril din kay Ranay. Di ko pinalagpas na makatakas pa ito. I shot him in his shoulder and the side of his tummy. Binalik ko lang kung ano ginawa sakin ng tauhan niya or should i say anak niya. I smirked. I can't feel the pain anymore, all i feel is anger.

Sinabi ni Zia na may susugod na tatlo kaya humanda ako agad.

"Prepare for their move, Concentrate."

"Cool uri ttal"

"They're ready, just in case you attack them"

"Be alert, you need to fasten your hands and feet overall your reflexes."

The side of my lips rose up because of his voice striking, for me to be prepared, alert and ready to move.

I closed my eyes again then smirked.

["Rainy Don't let anger feed on you"]

"Don't merely let your anger and grunt, because you won't be able to think of a way on how to defend yourself"

"Appa" saad ko habang inaalala lahat ng sinabi niya sakin.

Sumugod ang isa.

"Grab their hand then squizze it around their back then punch, and kick."

Nagawa ko.

"All you have to do is bump your head in their lips or nose"

"Yes appa" bulong ko sabay ngiti ng mapait.

Napabalik ako sa reyalidad ng makita kong lahat nakahandusay na. I smiled hard. Nakita ko si Ranay na nakasandal sa gilid at may tama. I scanned him and smiled bitterly.

"I don't like the idea of messing my own hands to the ones who killed my father because of my anger" saad ko habang nakatingin ng seryoso at hinihingal kay Ranay.

Papalakad na sana ako ng uminda ang tama ng bala sa balikat at gilid ng tyan ko kaya napahawak ako dito. Ang kaliwang kamay ko nakahawak sa kanang balikat kung saan ako may tama at ang kanang kamay ko sa gilid ng tyan ko.
