Chapter Six: Rising Up in Forever Fall

-Third Person-

As one would think, (Y/N)'s little fight in the cafeteria hadn't gone unnoticed. Especially since he gave half of CRDL a concussion, Cardin and Dove, while the other half had broken noses, Russel and Sky. Of course though, since the pilot was kicked in the chest multiple times, he too gained a nasty bruise on his chest.

For the past day or two, he had been spending time with Goodwitch in her office. Doing things like paperwork, grading, the usual teacher stuff. In all honesty, it seemed as though Goodwitch taught detention the same way she taught regular classes. But, there has to be some metaphor or story there....right?

Currently though, the morning had just risen and (Y/N) was going on a trip with the not so good witch. Having dressed into his pilot uniform, minus helmet, after his morning routine, he stood in front of the window. Athena looking at him as he fastened the last few pieces of his armored plates found on his joints.

"PILOT, IT SEEMS YOU WILL BE QUITE A WHILE AWAY FROM BEACON ACADEMY. IN CONCLUSION, I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REACH YOU IN TIME IF YOU WERE TO CALL FOR ME."

The young pilot let out a small chuckle as he yanked the strap of his left kneepad. Looking up at Athena as he grabbed the next.

"It won't be necessary. We'll be in the presence of a Goodwitch. So if someone does need help, she'll be right there. Besides! Our combat efficiency is beginning to increeeeaaaase~"

"INDEED IT IS, PILOT. VERY WELL. I WILL BE PUT ON STANDBY AND LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS WORLD. GOOD LUCK."

Athena raised a thumbs up to her pilot as he chuckled and raised one right back up to her. Suddenly, a knock came at his dorm door before he quickly put his helmet on over his head. Athena ducking down as her pilot went to open the door. Opening it to reveal none other than Coco Adel and Velvet Scarletina.

Coco dropped her shades a bit so she could look at the pilot as Velvet simply smiled at them. Coco then slipped her shades back up as she smirked before holding out her hand.

"Thanks for sticking out for the cute little bunny here."

"H-Hey!"

(Y/N) simply chuckled as he reached forward and took Coco's hand before giving it a firm shake. He was pleasantly surprised when she actually matched his strength in the shake.

"It's no problem. Just doin' my job....and then some."

He'd snickered lightly as Coco chuckled before he looked over to Velvet. She was pouting lightly as her ears had drooped slightly. He read up on his studies that the faunus people of Remnant were regular people with extra animalistic traits. Usually manifesting in traits like ears, tails, gills, antlers and so on. Usually depended on their species.

"So, has Cardin been bothering you, Velveteen rabbit?"

He said as he crossed his arms and leaned against the door frame of dorm door. Velvet perked up a bit as she smiled.

"Not anymore, I think it's partially due to the concussion you gave Cardin, though."

"Eh. He had it coming."

They all shared a small laugh before Velvet spoke out suddenly.

"But! I heard they have been picking on somebody else..I don't know who though. A first year, thats all I know."

Hearing this, the pilot didn't have to piece together anything as he instantly knew. Remembering what Jaune said before (Y/N) mopped the floor with Cardin and Co.

"Guys, really, it's fine! Besides, it's not like he's only a jerk to me; he's a jerk to everyone."

Remembering this made the young boy growl as he then stepped out into the hallway. The girls backed up as soon as they saw him come out his dorm and close the door.
