Worlds Collide

Virgil

Patton and I are chained up to the wall in Remus's office. Janus and Remus haven't came yet which is never good.

Patton has been trying to stay calm but he is horrified. I have to be strong for him though. But that is easier said than done. I tried to fight Janus and Remus when they came to get us. But I was easily outmatched and got the shit beat out of me and Patton got hurt as well. I'm not sure how badly though.

Patton whispers, afraid someone will overhear us, "Do you think Roman and Logan will save us?"

I whisper back, "They have no idea where we are and they can't do anything. They are humans and this place is filled with magical creatures and magical items."

Patton looks down, a tear falling down his cheek, "Oh...."

"I'm sorry. But I can't give you false hope. That's even worse..."

He goes to say something but the door opens and Remus and Janus walk in. Patton gets tense and I stare at the ground like it's the most interesting thing in the world.

Remus laughs, "Well, well, well. I got the traitors!"

Patton looks at Remus, "Traitors?"

"Yes. You two went to humans and-"

I interrupt, "They captured us. We didn't show ourselves willingly. We are bonded to them and trying to get freed."

Janus laughs, "You got caught by a half blood and human? You really got weak Virge."

I hiss at him.

Remus clicks his tongue, "Anyways~! Patton, your crime is being caught by humans and punishable with the death penalty. Virgil, you got caught by humans and went into the city. Soooooo torture for all eternity by yours truly and Janus OR you join us again!"

I look at Remus shocked, "What?"

Remus smiles, "You join us!"

I look at Patton then back at Remus, "How about this. I will join you again, but only if Patton's punishment is to be in the dungeon. He shall not be killed or harmed."

Remus hums, "I can make his punishment be thrown into the dungeon for life and not be killed."

I look at Patton who says, "Virgil you can't join them again! You did so much bad things! You said you wanted to get better and be a better person!"

I look at Remus and Janus, "Promise me he won't die."

Janus and Remus, say at the same time, "Promise."

"I will join you two again."

They smile and guards take Patton away, my heart aches as I watch them take him away in cuffs. Remus grabs my shoulder, "You get to help us torture the new comers!"

Janus ruffles my hair, "We've missed you."

We walk down the hallway and to the dungeon, going to the torture chamber which I hate more anything. I have nightmares of this place. Everything I saw and heard stuck with me forever. I know Patton can hear their screaming and I know everything that happens here which I would rather not go through. Even the death sentences are painful and slow. It takes years for them to actually die and I could not do that to Patton.

I have some small, hint of hope that Logan and Roman can somehow save us and pull this off. But I don't know if it will work or if they want to. They probably don't care about us and are happy that we are gone.

I get snapped out of my thoughts when I hear a scream. I smell the blood and feel sick to my stomach. Remus laughs as Janus mocks the poor, innocent soul.

They probably didn't even do anything wrong. Most of the time Remus picks a random person off the street to torture. It sickens me.

"Virgil," Remus yells.

I jump and look at him. "Yeah?"

"Torture this woman," He smiles and throws a woman on the ground. She has long black hair, blue eyes, and looks like a female version of Logan. My heart aches again.

I look at Remus and Janus. "What did she do?"

Janus answers, "She tripped and spilt her water on Remus."

Remus kicks her stomach, "So disrespectful!"

She grunts in pain. "I'm sorry, it was an accident," She whimpers.

"Guys, this is wrong. She didn't mean to...!" I blurt out.

Remus glares at me, "You got soft... Janus, I think it's time we remind Virgil where his place is and what happens when you disobey me."

Janus starts glowing a bright yellow and my heart drops when I see who he turned in to. I move back, staring wide eyed.
