Lillian has taught me a lot about potion making while I've been with her for such a short time of me being awake.

I learned how to make poison, sleeping potion, energetic potion, drug potion, and a potion that makes you go invisible.

She has also taught me how to make different types of soup. We ate a lot of soup. I learned how to make vegetable soup, beet soup, rabbit stew, and some others which taste so good.

We then go out to her small farm that is only a few steps away from her house. We start tending to the crops and everything is peaceful and perfect.

It's like that for a couple of days. But of course, it had to be disrupted.

I'm outside tending to the crops as per usual when I hear someone approaching the house through the woods and I hide behind the house.

"My feet hurt. How do humans walk everywhere," A voice asks.

A familiar voice answers, "Humans do not have wings unlike fairies. We are used to using our feet as a way to get around."

"Ugh! Maybe we should go back. We haven't returned for a few days."

"Not yet. Virgil has to be out here. I need to know that he is safe and alive."

He still cares about me? Why? I held a sword to his neck. I hear them knock on the door and it open.

"Hello," Lillian says, her voice filled with kindness.

Logan says, "Salutations. My apologies for bothering you but we are searching for someone. His name is Virgil and we haven't been able to find him. We are hoping you may know something."

"Of course I know something. He is the man I've been taking care of. He should be nearby."

I start running away but hear Logan yell, "Virgil!"

I keep running and if it wasn't for the deer that came out of nowhere and knocked me down, I would have kept running.

Logan and the fairy... Reeeemmmyy? I think that is his name. Are standing above me. Logan hugs me and I freeze. But I slowly hug back.

Logan looks at me, "I was worried about you. How come you didn't come back to the house?"

I look down, "I killed Roman's mother. You and him probably hate me..." I mumble.

"I don't hate you. And Roman wants to hear your side of the story."

"My side of the story? My side of the story is that I was evil and did what I needed."

"That's not true. I saw it."

"What?"

"I can see the dead. Roman's mother showed me her death and the conversation between you two."

I feel my blood run cold, "You hate me. You have to hate me."

"No, I don't."

"But-"

"Enough of this Virgil. She even told you herself that you couldn't stay here with this old lady."

I think back to that night and sigh. I look up at Logan, "She saved me though. I laid down and gave up. I was ready to die, I wanted to die...!" Tears start falling down my face.

Logan wipes away my tears, "Its okay. Your safe and alive now. I'm so happy to have you here Virgil. To know that your alive. You saved us all and we all owe you."

I shake my head, "No. No, no, no. You guys don't owe me anything. I let Patton get hurt, I killed Roman's mother, the fairies were injuried, and you... I held a sword to your throat."

"I see those as, you saved Patton from getting killed, you had no choice otherwise she would have died slowly and painfully, you had no control over the fairies getting harmed, and you did not hurt me. You attacked King Remus and that was extremely brave."

"It wasn't brave. It was stupid. I ended up passing out and didn't wake up for over a week, I have many wounds, and now I have a bite mark on my shoulder which is also broken since Janus was an asshole. But I deserve it. I deserve this pain. I'm awful and horrible and deserve the worst." I start crying a lot.

Logan hugs me again, "Falsehood. You deserve to be happy and the best."

Remy says, "Alright I'm starting to miss Emile thanks to you two. Let's get back to everyone."

I shake my head, "I want to stay here."

Logan looks at me, "Virgil, we need you. Please come back with us."

I sigh and seeing Logan's eyes pleading me to return to the house, I just can't say no. "Alright. Fine."

He smiles, "Thank you so much."

I say goodbye to Lillian and then we start heading back to the house. I have no idea what is next but it's safe to say I'm getting very anxious and worried about this.

King Remus and Janus will hunt us down and Roman probably wants to kill me as well.

I really don't see any bright outcome either way. All I see is despair.
