Nasa labas pa ako ng bahay nila Tito at wala akong marinig na kahit kunting ingay na nanggagaling sa loob. Ganito naman palagi pero tang-ina lang.

Kahit mabigat ang mga paa kong hahakbang sa loob ng bahay nila ay ginawa ko pa rin. Lalabas na yata ang puso ko sa lakas ng kabog nito.

I was on my way to walked upstairs when I caught sight of Aya holding a glass of water. She looked away when she noticed me, and passed in front of me

"Napa'no si Aigne?" I asked her straightforwardly

She halt from taking a step, and shook her head.

"Punta po kayo sa kwarto" she quietly mumbled and continued walking upstairs

Without hesitation, I flew my way to Aigne's room leaving Aya behind. She's walking slowly and that irked the fuck out of me.

Just as I was about to opened the knob, someone from the room pulled it. It's Uncle. He smiled at me but seconds after he break down, and fell on the floor. I quickly stood him up. Andrew, and his father rushed to help me.

I looked at Uncle and saw his puffy red eyes, his nose were also bright red. His face was swollen. I felt a cold air, and it gives shiver down to my cells. Fuck.

"Papa!" I heard my son's voice and saw him running towards me

His face crumpled with lips tugged down. He opened the door widely and my soul left my body as I saw a white blanket cover on Aigne's body, she's surrounded by her sister and her mother who are quietly crying. No shit.

"Papa, momma's gone" his lower lips quivered as he hugs my leg

"She's g-gone" He said again

My world stopped as I, I don't feel my body anymore. I absentmindedly lifted my son and hushed him down as his body was shaking. His little hands hugged my nape, and I tried to calm him down by caressing his back. I don't know if I do it right.

The fuck, I can't think of anything. My mind's completely blank. I peered at the bed and that's when I feel numb. My system is shutting down. I didn't noticed my best friend sister already hold Ethan for me.

My knees were slowly giving up as I walked with heavy steps near her. Just a fucking few steps and I can't walked straight, I can't even fucking let myself to be near her. I was on my knees walking, my heart loudly thumps as my hands shakes to touched her face.

A soft and a quick brushed on her cheeks made me lost it. I lost my shit together. My shoulders started to bounced up and down, my throat started to get sore. I am fighting back my tears as I watched with my heart in my mouth.

With my shaking hands I hold her hands and kiss the both of it inversely, unfaltering. Her hands were already cold, I can't looked at her face for I know I can't stop fighting back the tears. I opened my mouth and silently wailed my cry as no sob escape from it. My lips were trembling, and my eyes fell on her clothe, she's wearing my shirt. My orbs had a glanced of her rounded belly.
