A few days had passed before the incessant ringing returned a reminder that it wasn't a fever dream along with the stitches.

Ames wasn't necessarily happy with the stitched but luckily you cleaned it thankfully it wasn't infected sadly, you were dragged into the hospital. The only good things to come from the visit was meeting Dr. Cullen who was a sweet man, who was surprisingly attractive which you were rather conflicted over. He checked the stitches and examined your head, thankfully you didn't have a concussion and the stitches are thankfully well done. You also had a pudding cup for dinner, Ames wasn't happy as she stood by your bed as she waited for the CT and MRI. On the way home you fell asleep in the passenger seat, when you guys got home she put away the tortillas and made a frozen pizza for the two of you.

You needed answers, from him, the wolf. It was weird, there was no way you could actually be able to hear the wolf. It didn't make sense, if it was you petting him that caused it, then why didn't it occur before? When he first found you? Was it some kind of crazy dream? It wasn't making any sense. Changing into new pajamas you sat on your bed looking out to the forest, there had to be a reasonable answer. It couldn't be a coincidence, could it?

Laying down you couldn't help but toss and turn the ringing wouldn't stop even as you laid in the quiet bed. You sat up and began to bunch up the covers to cover your ears but the ringing was coming from your head. It was effortless, closing your eyes you began to cry silently the noise becoming too much. The pressure from the headache didn't help either. But then you heard it...a howl, and a voice. Even if you've just learned it there wasn't a way you could forget it. Sitting up you walked over to the windows pushing them open you squinted out into the trees, looking down at the trees you could see movement. How long had he been watching you?

Leaning out the window you peered outside, was it worth it? Getting answers or would it be safer to just forget about tonight and your welcome into Forks. He spoke, he had to, otherwise you're insane. Pushing away from the window plane you closed the curtains, quietly you creeped into your closet changing into baggie sweats and a hoodie. You couldn't ruin anymore pajamas, opening your bed room door you exit the bedroom closing the door behind you and made it out the sliding door. Walking towards the forest you decided that if you could just get rid of the damned ringing noise a concussion would be an alright price.

Silence, you finally faced the wolf and the ringing ceased. It was only the two of you, but you had questions and you weren't sure what the answer would be. 'Are you okay?' Was the first thing that broke your silence, "Yeah, it was just a deep cut, I fixed it up myself..." You respond as you look back at your bedroom window, "Do you come here often?" You joked referring to your first meeting and the fact that you were almost sure that you'd never be able to see someone in the dense wooded area.

'She thinks you're stalking her. She isn't wrong... it wasn't supposed to be creepy.'  You laugh awkwardly, "I think...I can hear your thoughts." The wolf cringes and sits down in front of you, "So I'm guessing, you do." He looks down at his paws and you cough to break the silence, "I mean, you aren't like tracing me to hunt me right?" You decide to ask if you can hear him, you might at least get some answers. 'No, I was...I- I'm not sure how to explain it.'

"You're a wolf, you must be aware of that, " You state as you hesitate before sitting in front of him. "Explain it to me,  I mean no one would believe me, I have more to lose than you. I'll be taken into a psychiatric hold... Do you even know what that is?" You ask as you fidget with your hands, "Besides, um, I don't have friends here anyway, your secret is safe." You look up at him and he visibly tensed, 'You have no idea what I have to lose.'
