"Want to leave? Wait in the car?" You ask Jacob nervously edging on anxious.
"I'm going with you. I'll be there, it's what friends are for." Jacob says climbing out the car. Your heart stuttered in your chest a cold pit in your stomach and a coldness in your veins.
Climbing out you look at the bag in the backseat, "Here goes nothing."
-
"Jacob?" Edward questions as the pair of you enter the Cullen's residence.
"Who are you talking to-(Y/n)? Oh my god, where the hell were you?" Aimee says running towards you, she grabs your shoulders and checks you over.
"F-friggin' hell." You gasp when her hand presses against the print.
"What did you do?" Edward implicated glaring at Jacob.
Aimee moved you behind her as if protecting you. "He didn't do anything to me!" You cut in pushing past your sister and grabbing Jacob's hand. "So can we stop with the accusations?" You felt angry, the rage was unclear and unfocused a burning heat in your stomach.
"Well he's saying he's guilty." Edward says annoyed and ready to kick him out.
"Of course he thinks he's guilty you're blaming him!" You say pointedly Edward raises an eyebrow, "So leave Jacob alone, Edward. I- I'm sure it's me, something in me is saying its me." Grabbing the sleeve that was held up above the burn. Tugging it down a burnt imprint of Jacob's hand was etched into your skin, "It's the only place it's happened, but I don't know why." You say the skin tender.
Aimee's gasped and went to check on your arm, Jacob's thoughts were running through your mind and you held his hand a little tighter to try and calm him.
Carlisle looked from the distance, the burn mark seemed to be healing already, he wasn't sure what was causing the accelerated healing. Dr.Cullen hasn't seen that rapid healing in a normal human and he hasn't exactly seen a werewolf heal, maybe there's a mix of witch powers he isn't aware of. Vampires and Witches haven't been on the best terms since the witch trials and the vampires quartering hunts, attention to the other group was a way to avoid prosecution.
"You didn't." Edward says before laughing, you looked over at Jacob.
Jacob had thought about your comment on the imprint. It seemed Edward had heard it as well.
"Don't read his thoughts." Comes out before you could stop yourself Edward raised an eyebrow.
"You first." He says unfazed, you send him a glare in hoped that he'd shut up as Aimee's forces you to sit on the couch as Jacob follows behind you. "So when did you imprint on her?" Edward says casually causing everyone to look up as you glare at him.
"Edward! Shut up." You glare and when he opened him mouth to speak his voice didn't come out. He was muted, in a sense, he could hear everyone's thoughts but couldn't speak.
"What did you do?" Aimee's says in shock.
"Nothing! I just wanted him to not say anything! Oh god, no." You gasped as you looked down at your hands, "It'll go away right? It has too!" You say worriedly wanting to do something anything to make it right but, Edward looked like a fish out of water.
"I kind of like him better that way." Jacob said smiling his arms crossed over his chest, a small part of you was amused but the greater part of you felt horribly guilty sucking the hilarity out of the situation.
"Jacob, not funny!" You huffed as you tried to get off the couch stopped by Carlisle's hand on your good shoulder.
"We'll try to fix Edward in a minute, but first we need to make sure the burn isn't severe." Carlisle walks around the couch and gestures for you to follow him. As you go to stand Jacob goes to touch you and Aimee's smacks his hands away out of your sight. Walking into Carlisle's room he asks you to sit.
