Why wont you blame me?

Aizawa POV

"Midoriya, it's fine. You can stop pretending. You don't have to act friendly or polite. There is no excuse for what me and the other teachers did to you, so I don't deserve you acting all nice and friendly like none of that ever happened, I-", I start before being interrupted by a timid and a little raspy voice, Midoriya's voice.

"It's fine Mr. Aizawa, I don't blame you. I guess those journals are pretty creepy. And even I don't give them to the villains they could still be stolen and used for evil, I should have never started writing them in the first place. So please don't apologise, you did nothing wrong.", he looks up at me after finishing.

And yet again he shows that broken smile, but this time he closes his eyes and a few small tears run down his cheek. As soon as he notices those tears he quickly looks down and wipes them away with the sleeves of his shirt. After a few stifled sobs he puts his arm down.
"What have I done...?", that question repeats itself in my mind a few times.

"What have I done...?", I didn't realise I said that until Midoriya looked up.

"You did nothing wrong.", the freckled boy says in a monotone voice, which I nearly didn't recognised as his.

I sigh,he wasn't looking at me or more like he refused to look at me. At least he stopped pretending his happiness.

"I don't know why you think it is ok to do what I did, but I will let you go back to your dorm now. Here are your journals, you can have them back now."

"NO!...No, you should keep them, like I said, I will stop writing more of them and it's to dangerous to keep them at my dorm!", Midoriya says immediately, after I stopped talking.

He seems a little panicked, like those books, he once loved so much are now the most horrifying thing on earth.
And while I look at him, I can't help but ask myself: "Why won't he blame me...?"

A/N:
Yay, I got it ready on the promised date!

I am sorry about how short this chapter is and that there is nothing interesting happening. I had some difficulties, figuring out how to continue the story, but now I think I have an idea.

The next chapter should be longer and more interesting.
I actually thought about writing some of the next chapter in this chapter, but I promised to get it out by today and time decided I am not able to do that.
